I've noticed that as you level up your captain's skills the amount if points needed to move up increases, especially points 8 and 9 to max out a skill. I'm wondering, is it worth it to max out skills to 9/9 or better to stop at 7/9 for most skills and use those points on other new skills?

I just spent over 8 minutes trying to dock at DS-9. All I ever got was "Loading Deep Space 9" with all the little tidbits of info at the lower part of the screen.

I would like to see the Type 9 shuttle be playable like the Runabout. I was in a Klingon misison the other day and I shot down a Type 9 Shuttle shooting and moving EXACTLY like a Type 9 shuttle. Can this be done. Apparently so. Thanks.
By that I mean the breech. 9 just seems kind of random in an mmo, yet I have never seen 10 ships that needed to be rescued. Was this intended or does a ship begin it's destruction counter at a non realistic check point?
