Question 1: I'm new to the game but am totally psyched! I've been playing Timelines for quite a while and to be honest am getting a little bored with it all the time. STO looks awesome though. So I created a couple of characters and started doing missions, but now my Romulan is almost out of health and it looks like some fighting is about to happen. How do I obtain more health? I've tried to find some guides that will answer all this stuff for me but I couldn't find anything so I'm winging it.
Question 2: Could someone please explain the functions of Zen and Dilithium respectively?
and when will I be able to start purchasing them?
    thanks

You don’t “gain health,” you can heal your Hull with certain skills like Engineering Team or Hazard Emitters. You increase your Hull strength through various methods including skills, consoles, or by getting a ship of a higher tier.

You would get answers a lot quicker by posting in the forum instead of just on my individual wall. I’m happy to try and help, but there are others that can help you as well.

Also on your 2nd question, Dilithium is in game currency awarded for most activities done during the game. Zen is the currency used to buy things from the games "Cash Store." You can however, trade Dilithium for Zen which allows you to get cash store items for free. You do this by visiting the Dilithium Exchange which is the button located right below where it tells you how much Dilithium you currently have.
