Once per account boffs and combat pet is a dealbreaker. What happened to "the account is the player"? I have too many characters to buy stuff for just one of them.
Please give us the option to disable this entirely, or change it to only display the first time you log in every day or something. Getting this every time I switch characters is already getting very annoying.
This is happening to me as well. The game was fine this morning, but this evening it downloaded a small patch (around 100mb or so), but when I clicked engage, the launcher closed but did not launch the game. I tried a few more times, then gave up and restarted my computer. Now the launcher is attempting to download 11GB's…
Well, since it seems to be difficult to answer this simple question about Arc running in the background or not, I have actually downloaded the Arc client to see for myself. Here is some initial feedback. The system requirements for Arc claims that it needs 8MB of hard drive space. After installing, my Arc folder is sitting…
I agree, the new Dyson rep is a huge improvement! I actually won't mind doing it on several characters, and the fact that I no longer have to fill my bank and inventory with large power cells etc. is a massive relief. I don't really mind the commendation, yes it's one extra currency, but it's not like it's confusing as to…
I ran Storming the Spire on normal once, got no commendation. I then did it again, but on elite, and that gave me a commendation. This was on my Fed-Rom.
I agree completely with Lord Havelock - a launcher that have to run constantly in the background while I'm playing is a definitive deal breaker. It doesn't matter how lightweight you make it, I don't want it running in the background while I am playing. I don't need any of the features (chat, browser etc), I just want to…
Will Arc work mostly like the current launcher (start Arc, launch game, Arc closes), or will Arc have to run in the background while the I play the game? If it's the first, then I don't really mind installing it.
Played around for a little bit today and I must say that it was good fun :) I liked the Voth, they were not complete pushovers like most other enemies in this game. I do wish we could have two instances of the battezone, one normal (for newly dinged and and not top geared 50's) and one elite (for 50's in full fleet or rep…
I neither want nor need this piece of software. It will in no way improve my gaming experience. Please make sure that we have the option of continuing to use the current launcher and opt-out of Arc, thank you.
I have flown the Ha'nom(nomnomnom!) Guardian Warbird for ten levels now, and I have to say that I absolutely love it! It combines a decent turn rate, good offence and a nice science feel, in addition to feeling rather sturdy. Now that I have flown it for a while I really dig the design of it as well, it is very warbirdy…
Thanks for the explanation! :) Does this mean that once LoR hits Holodeck, it might be a good idea to remove the old game folder and redownload the whole thing (if that end up taking less harddisk space, I mean)?
I must have gotten lucky, since I could complete the mission on my first try. However I did have issues with the "release captive" interact button, mushroom people standing outside their incubators, and I also could not turn it in after completing it - had to go back to Alpha Centauri.
Played through on May 9th and 10th (after the latest patch), with a female Alien Romulan allied with the Federation. Abducted The first part of the mission is a little messy in terms of finding where you ought to go and how to get there. For example, it is not obvious that one is supposed to go back through the exit shaft…
Played through all the missions except the last on May 8th (before the latest patch), with a female Alien Romulan allied with the Federation. Secrets of Nimbus Well.. it wasn't that much of a mission :P Didn't notice any bugs though. The Lost City of Paradise This place reminds me a lot of Tatooine in that other…
Played through on May 8th (before the latest patch), with a female Alien Romulan allied with the Federation. An Inside Job No noticeable bugs in this mission. Enemy Action The first part of this mission is still annoying. The ships take a while to take down, and they still only give 3% contribution. Then there is the fact…
Played through these missions on May 8th (before the latest patch), with a female Alien Romulan allied with the Federation. What happened to the mission "Stepping In"? The Price of Neutrality When I beamed down to the colony I was hailed by a Starfleet Bolian science officer called Lysia - who is this? I have no such…
Here's another batch of feedback after playing through the missions again. I played these on May 8th (before the latest patch), with a female Alien Romulan that allied with the Federation. The Helix No noticeable bugs. Crossroads at Crateris What have you done to Veril?! She looked so much better before! She has kept her…
