Several days later, Matt was still recovering in his quarters, but doing light duty shifts while the Ardeen maintained patrols around the Verbis system. There had been no more activity at all. The politics of the galaxy continued to spiral out of control. All talks between the Federation and the Klingon Empire had ended,…
Matt let out a breath of surprise at the heat on the planet as soon as he materialized on the surface. The away team reports were definitely not exaggerating the high temperatures. Thankfully, he didn’t have to bake for long as his opponent materialized a few meters away. General Mev’tok smiled at Matt and chuckled when he…
The USS Ardeen’s bridge became an exercise in controlled chaos as reports from all stations flooded the comms while the ship moved into combat readiness. Matt sat down in his chair, and was immediately handed a PADD from his First Officer on the ship’s status showing any major points of concern. He quickly glanced over,…
“Udul to Ardeen! Emergency!” Matt swung around in his captain’s chair from a talk with his strategic operations officer, Lieutenant Commander T’Shanip. “Jerrickson here.” “We’ve had an incident. A sink hole opened up, and Franklin fell.” “Acknowledged,” Matt said curtly. “Is the rest of your team safe?” “As far as I can…
Tried again after the update today that addressed the Borg spawning behind the force field in Curtain Falls. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to complete this mission. After I defeat T'Ket and Hakeev, there appears to be a Borg stuck in the wall, and I'm unable to complete the "Defeat all activated Borg" part of the…
Tried again tonight with the same result. Defeated Hakeev and T'Ket after being bum rushed by Borg drones, and now I'm stuck on Defeat All Activated Borg with a whole bunch of Borg staying in their alcoves.
Similar. T'Ket and Hakeev defeated, but then I have four borg still in their alcoves on the top level that won't activate, and my mission progress won't complete that all borg have been defeated.
I'm going to venture a guess. Given the proximity of the anniversary to the launch of Picard, and with the whole ASCII text decoding, after listening to a few samples, I think it's Jonathan Del Arco as Hugh.
I already own everything except for the Miradorn, and not really interested in that. All my kidding above aside, I am really excited for the new Constellation skin. The T5U is fine for flying missions, but I would seriously love to see a T6 Heavy Crusier along with any other canon non T6 ships.
In the "ships you've been waiting for" category, I'm hoping: T6 Heavy Cruiser (For my Constellation Class happy feels) T6 Oberth with "Grissom Class" 2410 update kit options (specific, I know, but I love that oddball little ship) T6 T'Liss (non lockbox in the C-Store) For the anniversary ship, given that it's Voyager's…
At the risk of opening old wounds... Star Wars Galaxies Although the Foundry is not really "the early days", I do miss being able to create missions and stories for the community. That was a very unique tool that made STO special. I enjoy the content provided, and it is of good quality, but my bread and butter was the…
I'm thinking/hoping that the 10 anniversary roadmap hint of "the ships you've been waiting for" will see the T6 Oberth, and every other non T6 canon ship.
I'm keeping hope alive for that T6 Oberth and Constellation. I'm holding my free T6 ship token until then. My monthly zen should be built up enough to get the other I'll need too if they both come up. I'm interested to see where the story goes from here. Still really missing the Foundry to fill that void.
I could have sworn there was a slightly powered down version on the fleet store. I also agree The Captain's Table could use...something, but I know not what. The ability to change the look of a ship does exist with holoshrouds. I know that ends on combat, but how about this refit token instead could be like a…
Anyone else notice the Oberth is no longer in the Zen store? I still have mine that I keep around because I have this weird fascination with the ship, but I wonder...
I agree with previous statements that the way to make your voices heard is through monetary means. As a business, Cryptic and PWE will notice a sharp enough drop in profits. If a business does not make a product you want to buy, or a service offering you desire is no longer offered or meeting your need, then the only way a…
I get the business/support reasoning behind this. If the game/foundry publishing systems are too divergent, it makes sense that the numbers don't add up. I've had to make similar decisions in my professional life. It sucks disappointing customers in a service industry, because your customers' happiness is what keeps the…
