The awkward moment when a lead ship and UI artist writes better Star Trek material than the TRIBBLE writers who're paid millions. This was brilliantly written.
I did a massive overhaul of equipment and abilities and even BOFFS for the first time in years today...glad to say I'm not dying in PVE anymore *rolls eye* thanks all.
This here probably illustrates my original point better than what I did, too many different systems, too many different types of gear, too many different paths required to get half decent gear etc. That is if you want to be doing good dps.
Shattered no Meaney or Brooks, but on another note, PWE must be throwing some serious money at this game to get all those actors back for their original roles! Can't wait for this expansion.
Thanks man I completely forgot about the Voyager rifle being in game, how do I get one (my Delta Rep is almost non existent despite having completed the campaign!) Are they on the exchange?
I'm just hoping that it's set some time not long after Nemesis, with the chance to see our old favourites get involved once in a while with our new ship and crew.
Yeah I didn't end up buying this one myself, just upgraded my Fleet T5 Defiant with a token, they did an amazing job on the new model though, looks great!
My only problem is that I've stupidly deleted all my ships as I've not needed them while only keeping my Primary starship and a couple of support craft (runabouts etc) OOPS!
What's the point? There's 0 functionality for them in this game anyway? I don't get why people would waste the money..... if it was more like Bridge Commander I'd understand.
As a Star Trek/STO fan it doesn't bother you that you can't even use your own ship which you've invested so much time in on a new mission? And that the whole point of the new mission is that it's just a marketing tool for some new ship they wanna try sell us in the C-Store?
LOL if this was any other game I'd be surprised. Wanted to try the new FE (even though the FE's these days are only just tools to force you to play some new ship and market it to you, Ambassador and Obelisk anyone?) In my 2 years playing TOR I don't think I've been kicked or had the server I play on go down once.
If I've learned anything it's that PWE know they've got this player base right where they want them, almost stockholmed lol They'll keep coming back and blowing money in the C-Store and grinding for stuff their characters don't really need.
Well I uninstalled arc and am running my game through steam now, arc's completely gone from my system. Now another question are the remastered Fed missions on tribble??
I just went add non steam game and uninstalled Arc. It was due for a launcher patch so it's just doing 20mb at the moment looks fine. I stupidly went looking for the STO files under Cryptic without realising it's in the PWE folder.
As someone who's played a few MMO's in my time, this one easily has the most divided fanbase. Just goes to show the true state of the game, seems there's more people who are over it then people who aren't. Then there's the other group who I believe keep on playing because it's the only Trek MMO and one of the very few Trek…
A number of threads lately (I feel) are starting to show how disenchanted the community seems to be with this game. As someone who's played a few different MMO's This one has the most divided and unhappy community IMO. Sure every MMO has fans that complain about something, but they're a small minority. Here that number…
