That is truly one of the funniest comments I've ever seen. They aren't "planning"(and keep in mind, plans change) to NEVER make another Rom/JH ship. In other words: They MAY make a Rom//JH every now and then, if you are lucky. But they absolutely will not be making very many of them, or very often. That's just the reality.

Actions speak louder than words, my young apprentice. It doesn't matter what they say, only what they do. If they say they aren't going to ignore making X ships, but then over the next 12 months barely make any, then what they said was wrong. Time will tell, regardless of what was said.

The obvious points of conflict will be the HUGE galaxy-spanning events Cryptic has done (Iconian War, Hurq Invasion), so if the show contradicts those things then any dream of STO being canon is officially out the window. And thank god!

Nope, it's not. You see, the console version of this game has no foundry at all. That means everything you wrote is completely irrelevant to 2/3(Xbox and PS4) of the platforms this game is on.
