I think this is the optimal setup for a pure dps nautilus, and so far nobody's been able to prove me wrong. TL;DR on the powers themselves is Tractor Beam 1, Destablilizing Resonance Beam 1, Subspace Vortex 3, Channeled Deconstruction 1, Chronometric Inversion Field 1, Rapid Decay 2, Gravity Well 3, STructural Integrity…
I think some of you don't realize you're talking to a guy who is one of the game's biggest build experts and speedruns HSE for fun, and I really gotta say, it makes me laugh that you're telling him it's not useful in the high-end, when not only can he do the math proving it is, he's got the record-tier parses to back him…
Not quite 4k; but I run at 3/4 of 4k by pixels (5760x1080), and I can renderscale2 that on my 3.5g of VRAM (GTX 970), so I can't imagine 8g of vram being an issue at 4k.
I'll be honest, comments like this are half of the reason my best performing toons are named after members of the Trump family currently. The other reason is because why not MAGA?
Yup. Fleet Naut, ~350+ CtrlX, 600-700 EPG, +QSM, and it's just a thing of beauty. I don't intentionally build up swarms of ships, but if they do happen that's my preferred ship to be in. GW/SSV/DRB/CIF all can be hitting 20-40k/tic, so most things don't make it to the middle before exploding.
A high-end science ship can also annihilate swarms of Terrans with ease. Normally I toss either GW+DRB or CIF+SSV at groups, but a big group (~25+) I can run a full buff/ability combo at, and it leaves a 12km radius sphere of annihilation for a good ~20 seconds.
