With 82 pets, I need to start conserving my remaining inventory and bank space. This is the first winter event where I won't be collecting the new epohhs.
As a DHC escort captain, anything heavier than a Destroyer or some Science Vessels will give me difficulty. Cruisers make me want to toss my keyboard so grinding out some of the starship traits can be difficult.
The only consoles that get any diminishing returns are the ones improving damage resistance. Everything else (science, tactical, and other engineering consoles) stacks normal. And keep in mind, tactical consoles are category 1 so they aren't always the best option anyway.
The ships are already pretty balanced. It's when you start adding in the extra stuff like doffs, mastery, starship/rep traits, universal consoles without a ship restriction, console set bonuses, and some boff traits that things start to get out of hand. I'd love to see a pvp revamp, but I think they'd have to gut a large…
Yeah, I kept having to fix that setting in the middle of combat because it kept changing. That's why finding which new default bind was changing it was the actual fix.
I was having the same problem randomly at one point. It's been awhile, but I had to remove a default bind in my options to fix it. I'm not sure, but I think it was Camera Target Lock (/camToggleSTOTargetLock). I hope that helps.
Yeah, those work fine for me. Did you...* ...wait for the spreadsheet to finish loading completely (it can take longer than it appears to take)? * ...make sure you clicked on the dropdown arrow and not just close to it (sometimes that causes problems for me, but selecting another cell and coming back to it can make it work…
I'm not seeing any problem with those... as in they show up in the list for me. I do need to completely revamp the Hangar Pets portion of the spreadsheet, but it's not a project I really want to start. Since I'm not a carrier captain, most of the information for them comes from whatever tooltips I can find ingame, or…
V4.1 adds the Cardassian/Dominion lockbox/lobi ships currently available only to console players. Also added is a new hull mod stat that showed up in a dev blog for the first time. Although, in the process of adding it, I think I found a bug with the listed level 50 hull values on ships that auto-level with the player:…
Thanks. Having different base hulls at lvls 40, 50, and 60 works.1.250 | 30,000 -> 37,500.0 | 34,500 -> 43,125.0 | 40,000 -> 50,000 1.500 | 30,000 -> 45,000.0 | 34,500 -> 51,750.0 | 40,000 -> 60,000 1.275 | 30,000 -> 38,250.0 | 34,500 -> 43,987.5 | 40,000 -> 51,000 I think what confused me was it didn't line up in a linear…
What it means is the base hull somewhat levels up with you. At 50 it's one amount, and automatically increases each level until it's the other amount at 60.
Fleet leaders can choose which types of items to allow or restrict, both incoming and outgoing, and they can also turn off individual projects from armada contributions. My fleet has everything open without any problems, but others might decide it's better for their fleet to have some restrictions.
Too rich for me too. :) Amares and the other Energy Weapons Officers from the Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack are going to be expensive (Chance for stacking Crit Severity buff on firing Energy Weapons), but some of the others will not be as expensive. I think the Kobali tend to be better priced although still in the…
Here are some lists of all the R&D doffs I've found (over 500 per faction): Fed / KDF. You can find many of them on the exchange if you search by name.
V4.0 is a major revision, providing graphics and much more info. Also, the new T6 Connie and related ships are in there. Enjoy! B) I do have a few other changes planned, such as the standard default equipment, but those won't be added until a later update.
I've had mixed results. Most recently, I've found it seemed to work if I finished typing in the message, then clicked on one of the projects for that holding. I haven't done much testing with it though.
You do need to be in a fleet to buy fleet ships (you can leave the fleet as soon as you get it). IF you had 4 additional accounts and your computer could handle running 5 instances of STO at the same time, it theoretically is possible to form your own fleet. I wouldn't recommend it though.
It is possible to solo a fleet (you only need a full team to create it), but it gets expensive/grindy after awhile. You also have the issue that it takes awhile to unlock the different shipyard tiers to access all the ships. If you have a certain fleet ship in mind, there are completed fleets out there with plenty of…
I'm totally for this... Between ship loadout gear, ground gear options, pets, consumables, and other items I have to carry, I'm down to about 12 open slots (after maxing my inventory).
I don't know all the available styles, but I have mine set to:<font style=item_ultraviolet_large">[Sciscort Captain [Debuff]x2 [Kill]x2]</font> I'm not sure what other html/styles can be used.
I've had it happen once. Made a post, immediately realized I needed to edit it, made the very minor change, tried to submit again, and got a notice that it was going into the approval queue. I guessed it was because of trying to submit an edit too quickly after the initial post, but I could be wrong.
