I generally just use what I can get my hands on, so I know none of my ships are optimized, but they do the job they're supposed to do. Do I mow things down? No, but I also don't blow up, so it just takes a bit longer to kill things. Which is fine by me. Mowing things down is actually kind of boring. I like a good fight.

Another way to do this on the Klingon side is turn in 10 tribble carcasses. It's also a five hour mission, but it's one and done. I did that this time around.

I think you're overestimating how many people would be willing to fund this. As the others have said, the game would have to shut dow, probably for years, just to do the code over again. I've kind of skimmed over most of the walls-o-text as some of them are reiterations of other WoT. My opinion on this is that if they won't unrestrict omnis for all-omni builds, then restricting them to rear-only and no restriction on type (crafted/set). Restricting it to one set and one crafted seems a bit too restrictive.

I had my very first DR replaying SoI and ran into that bug. Thankfully she found her console she needed (don't know how she didn't get that one or the one in SBS, but now she can go on and get the other eps she hasn't played yet.) Hopefully the bugged one in DQ will be fixed soon as she hasn't done that one so will need it…

Each box has a very low chance of dropping a ship. The chance is per box, every box you open has the same chance of dropping the ship as the previous box. The Romulan Captain on Nimbus at the satellites deploys one of these when you're fighting him.

There's a vendor for ship supplies right next to the ship selection npc, also a ground vendor in the stall next to the tailor. I sell at either of those two most of the time.

That's the point of any game, single player or MMO, is to have fun. No one's fun is wrong if it's fun for them and no one has the right to ruin anyone else's fun. Repair platform on the exchange, just search Repair Platform. It's horribly expensive though, I saw last time I got one. I've used Diplomatic Orders for ground mats too. There's two mats down there too. Just a little more to do. Get in shuttle, skip cutscene, then get mats, rinse, repeat. I might take a repair platform over to that ship in the Contested Zone. It works in Khonshu Khaibit on the Khonshu.

What the others are saying. I can get behind the system DBJK mentioned, and there are places in STO that do that. Nimbus scales you down to like lvl 50 and I think so does the Borg BZ. If we have this for lower-higher tier content then it might level the playing field a little more then simply nerfing big players.

What LL said. You have to do Skirmish. The Elachi waves and activating satellites is the patrol mission, not Skirmish.
