Love'd the game for a year or so, also played the ultimate DAOC for 3 years before that, and some Everquest too.
As much as i loved WOW, and i did, i just needed some flavor. There is only so much hack and slash and crafting that i could handle. Variety is the spice of life!
I've been playing for over a year now. I play a level 80 Undead Warlock on Cho'gall (US). Star Trek Online seems to be tearing me away from it though...
i was addicted to wow for a couple years.....ive been clean of mmorpg's for about a year. i blame my fall off the wagon not on star trek itself, but on 7-of-9's lucious, borg, sweater-puppets.
a late night bong-infused random episode of voyager....and now im here...ill try not to annoy anyone...no i dont =)_
I have been playing wow since apirl of 2005. I have a lvl 80 Rogue Blood Elf, lvl 60 Human Warlock, lvl 80 Dreani Death knight. lvl 70 night elf warrior, lvl 76 Blood elf Paladin. lvl 62 night elf druid, lvl 62 blood elf warlock.. lvl 48 dreani hunter. and some lower lvls... my subscription ended two weeks ago and I have not renewed.
Former World of Warcraft player here. I joined that game around the time I heard about the release date for Star Trek Online. Before I cancelled my WoW sub, I had a level 30 pally.
--That's the only one I played really. I don't like making a lot of characters... just one I can use for endgame stuff. Same with this game here. I'll probably have one main and that's it.
I was and sort of still am a wow player, but i really wanna quit for good and play this instead. I have a lvl 80 pvp arms warrior, lvl 80 pally healer, lvl 74 hunter on one server, and a lvl 79 DK and lvl 63 hunter on another.

"Live long and prosper"
FFXI, such a disappointment from the FInal Fatasy franchise, what a waste of a present.
i was dying 2 get a new mmo
if the xp loss after death wasn't in the game, it'd be so much more epic imo.

i got insanely bored with wow, friend had me try STO. and here i am.
Brazelon , 79 Gnome Warlock, Stormreaver
I quit back in October and I don't plan to head back thanks to STO.
I started 6 months after it was released and I still enjoy playing it, doing end game raiding into ICC with my guild.
I also play EVE. 4 years now. Have my own corp and large group of ppl I play the game and do the RP element of EVE with.
Now I play this as well.
I enjoy all of them. They are all good for different things.
Ambassador Shelinda - Level 80 Holy Paladin - Twisting Nether Server.

No need to iggy me though.
I've been waiting for STO for sooooooo long and as soon as I get the game on Friday I'm ditching WAR.
Reasons???
Lack of content, lack of support, no dev time, NOOBS, NO STARSHIPS!!!
STO is gonna RAWWWWWWK!!!
