L'Kor Rozhenko

This is my name in Star Fleet, and I am proud of it. My true name is L'Kor, son of Alexander, of the House of Martok and I am even more proud of that name, and of my family. The fact that I am a Klingon and from my particular family has not made me popular in Star Fleet, but I am a Klingon, and can only expect as much in these difficult days.

I was born on Qo'noS in 2387 and my mother died in childbirth. I was raised there and went through both rites of ascention. I was named after a Klingon warrior who aided my grandfather when he was very young. Despite my grandfather's prominence and my father's willingness to assist him, our family is now distrusted by both the Klingons and the Federation, especially after the start of the present war. After my grandfather's remarriage and the birth of his son K'Dhan a gulf opened between my father and his father and we left the Klingon home world and resettled in Federation space. I joined Star Fleet in 2404.

Four of Seventeen, Sub-Spatial Adjunct of Ancillary Maintenance Matrix Seventy-Six

As a liberated Borg, I obviously know very little of my past before I achieved liberation from The Collective in 2405. The doctors who did my reconstructive surgery told me I was from what the Borg call Species 3783 and others call the Romulans. I must assume that the surgery performed by these Star Fleet doctors was intended to remove whatever remnant Romulan appearance I may have carried, though their testing suggests I may have been assimulated in the Borg attack on Romulan settlements in 2364. Officially, they have recorded me in the records as a "human".

Regardless of who I was, I am now a Star Fleet officer, and fully ready to serve in whatever comes. I wish those who stare at me and avoid my presence understood that. But my resistance to this is futile.

    Kestra Genestra

I was born on Bertazed in 2385, and had an almost invisible childhood. Part of this, I guess, reflected my personality, and part was a family issue, as we still suffered from a tarnished reputation from my grandfather's unfortunate involvement in the infamous Satie scandal of 2367. This was complicated by my name which on Betazed is considered beautiful due to its rhyme, but elsewhere is often greeted by giggling. Resisting a bond to a future husband (or did no one wish to marry into our family?), I attended medical school and then graduated from Star Fleet Academy in 2408.

My efforts are now focused on redemption for past transgressions.

Alien name: Auz'aul'zeiloi-- literally translates to “Dancing veil of light by the moon” with the universal translator.
English name, for humans to use in place of her difficult name: “Aurora Moon”.

Character's background: is from a pretty much a custom race, which I decided to call Achernarians.

an race that relatively got contacted by the federation recently (if you can call 20 years ago in this current time line recent), and then 20 years later joined the federation of planets.
They're humanoid mammals with skintones that usually comes in shades of purple and blue only. They evolved from an now non-existent species that was very similar to fruit bats. So as an result, they tend to be very nocturnal creatures.... although they can work during day hours too as well.
They're also well-known for being a race that is naturally nudist... believing that clothes are only a option, and only meant for protection and not much else. Most has a hard time grasping the idea that other races out there actually sees nudity as something sexual, and therefore offensive. When they do wear clothes, They have a strong preference towards silk or any other similar fabric as seeing other fabrics tends to feel very confining and heavy on their body.

They're also: Very hard to offend, believes in total freedom to the point of almost being anarchic, often have cool glowing tattoos (which they get as an rite of passage for turning into an full fledgling adult), And Get drunk off chocolate!

how she got into star-fleet: her mother divorced her biological father when "Aurora" was at a young age. Her mother then traveled the stars while Aurora stayed at home with her father. Her mother briefly had an relationship with a star ship captain who allowed her to work in his ship as an bartender.. and thus she was able to collect many stories and pictures from all over the place to tell Aurora back home.
Aurora then started to feel the same wanderlust that her mother had, wanting to see those sights for herself rather than depend on secondhand information to get the feel of what a place was like.
So soon as she was old enough, she signed up at star-fleet academy and the rest is history.

    Stardate 0130.2010, Captain's Log, supplemental
We have just woke up. We have been in a sleep statis on board the U.S.S. Thor's Hammer for nearly 32 years. When we went into a forced hibernation, it was to escape a Borg Cube that was tracking us and we had no way to out run it. So a radical idea was introduced, head into a Nebula and shut down...literally..everything but the barest life support and look 'dead'. Without sensors to give our ruse away, we would have to be found on a visual level which would be nearly impossible and then a boarding crew would have to examine us..it was a dicey choice but I gave the order to do it. As the only Starfleet captain to wear an aloha shirt on the bridge and drink Margaritas before engaging an enemy in combat, I figured, "What the hell....it's only a miracle it'll work..." One problem is that we were suppossed to be shut down for 6 nos. in case the cube hung around to see if we were playing 'possum but something went wrong and now we ae thirty plus years older but only showing about 6 mos. aging. (Tanning booths can cover that!) Well looks like Logan Mercury is going to have to adjust to newer technology, better ships and more sexual harrassment protocols. It seems my history has caught up with me! well this old explorer will manage adn since moswt of my crew wishes to stay under my command I think we will find kicking Klingons here as much fun as it was in the old days over at Starfleet Command. well my dear folks the Mercurys over on Mars are dead, my brother is pulling a pension and living out his retirement in a holographic Robt. E. Howard world with a guy named Conan and my sister still thinks 20th century super heroes on Earth are cool in a Cyrptic kinda way. So I'm back and ready to see what these new photon torps do to a Klingon's cloaked rear end...
    Hasta la vista babies...Logan Mercury

My father was a science officer in the Romulan forces and died with our world. My mother was among the survivors as she was off-world pregnant with me when the disaster struck. She was visiting her widowed mother on the obscure planet of Carraya IV and I was born there in 2388. I never knew my father.

For reasons I may never understand, though I think it is somehow linked to the history of her family, my mother chose to settle on Qo'noS. While I have never been entirely comfortable among these Klingons, I have a burning desire to honor my father’s military heritage and to seek some way to serve against the expansionist Federation, so I entered Klingon military service in 2401.

Romulus is gone, but my honor survives, even if I must pursue it in Klingon service.

Not to sure what im doing here, I fount out aliens was taking over the earth and I had to do something. They cought me and erased my memory.
I escaped with only a message from myself to find my friend and that he will be able to help, I did find him and luckily I had sent him a copy of my memory which he re-implanted.
To cut a long story short I tried to stop them, was re-captured, ended up on their plannet, I destroied their plannet and escaped in a ship, last thing I remember was going into suspended animation before waking up here!

I refuse to tell anyone but starfleet exactly what system I am from. After studying the one you call Kirk, I have decided that I must out do his reputation. My kind admire dominance and hold it in high regard.

Therefore, my 5 year mission is to explore strange, new worlds, kick TRIBBLE on planetary leaders that rub me the wrong way, make sweet love to thier women, then fly on to the next system.

    Just as Kirk once did.

I plan to blow up alot of things on my way to intergalactic dominance, try not to get in front of my ship.

Of course, there is more to me than that, but only the few who decide its worth the time to get to know me will ever see beyond this.

Syd, stands around 7' tall with his pale humanoid completion with black veins not unlike some of these new liberated Borg I have been seeing around the Earth spacedock.

Little is known about Syd, all of his Starfleet records are of the highest confidentiality.
Syd is from a race known only as the Kindred. There is evidence recorded of the presence of these Kindred in the earliest records of Earth's (Mankind's) history.
Much of what is know of them is shrouded in myth and legend.

There is as well evidence of these Kindred throughout the known universe. Most knowledge at all of these beings is kept by secret societies and there for difficult to obtain.
It can be deduced that the Kindred are and have been very influential in shaping or otherwise controlling certain aspects of many intergalactic civilizations.

    Name: Karth Hawkins
    Race: Trill (unjoined)

Story: The son of two rather un-noteworthy Trill parents. Karth was only about a year old when on a trip he was with his parents when the freighter they were on was raided by Nausicaan pirates. The pirates were in the middle of fighting for control of the ship. When a federation Defiant class escort and an Intrepid Class vessel had responded to the freighter's distress signal. After fighting off the pirates, most of the frieghter's crew had been killed and the children had been locked away in a reinforced compartment in the frieghter.

Soon after, the frieghter was repaired and set off to the nearest starbase. The children were transported aboard the Intrepid. With orders go to starbase one so that federation officials could track down any relatives to release them into their custody. Most of the children were quickly re-united with aunts, uncles, and grandparents. However, the federation could find none of Karth's living relatives. In fact, there was no record of Karth or his parents even being on the frieghter. So he was placed up for adoption, and sent to an orphanage on earth.

A couple years later, Karth was adopted by a couple out of the city of Dayton in Ohio. He was raised in the suburb of Kettering with a mostly human community. For a while, especially while in elementary school his parents did much to conceal Karth's Trill appearance. This worked well, until he got into a fight and the makeup that was used to cover his spots washed off when he was pushed into a puddle. To his, and his parents surprise a lot of the kids actually thought the spots were cool.

After that, he graduated school with just slightly above average grades. He was always interested in many aspects of science, mainly physical biology, geology and exogeology. His adoptive father was an engineering officer stationed at a starport. After pulling some strings, his father managed to get Karth into Starfleet Academy.

Computer= <Personal log> Lt CMDR Vandur I Was born on Vulcan, Both my parents were Vulcan scientist who help engineer and develop the ship with Red matter with Capt Spock to save Romulus. They were not happy with me when i wanted to follow in Capt Spocks footsteps and did not take the path of logic. So when I was old enough I enlisted into the Federation. Passing at the top of my class in Warp core theory and engineering. After graduation from Star fleet Academy i was assigned to the U.S.S. Valkyrie as a Engineer Officer. After serving for two years under CMDR Reins our lead Engineer at the time, I learned many good skills to take me far. We were ordered to the Regulus sector to intercept a distress call from a Federation transport under attack by Orion Raiders. CMDR Reins and the senior staff beamed down to neighboring planet to try and diplomatically arranged for the transport crews release. But instead it was an ambush and they were all killed rest in peace. That left me in command being the Senior officer on the ship. I engaged the Orion's destroying all of there ships, but in doing so took major damaged having to put into space dock for a 3 month over haul. Computer = <End Personal log>

    Name: Ifthen Else Zero One
    Race: Bynar

We were captured during the recent Borg invasion. We were were working on the warp core on the USS Khitomer. That's when the Borg beamed in and we were assimilated. Zero had previously been experimenting with enhancing our biological components with Borg-like nanoprobes before the invasion. It was these nanoprobes that prevented the Borg from taking control. Zero's Bynar nanoprobes converted the subroutines of the Borg probes to take commands from our sub-proccessor but they remained connected to the hive mind. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to test the new probes on One and we were fully assimilated. We continued to try and work as two as long as we could, downloading key memory engrams in hopes that we would one day be able to restore ourselves but the information was too complex and our identities began to mix even more so than when we were two. As more Borg beamed in and the Khitomer disabled, we were able to make our escape, leaving the body of One behind. We now work to try and process what the experience has made us. The Borg nanoprobes are still inside us and active. Only now they are ours. With research, we will be able to use them to perfect the work we had started.

We are not Borg! We are Bynar!

I'm Mary Gold-Eagle. I was one of the Hundred infant Changelings sent to explore the galixy by the Founders. I was discovered by a science ship patroling the Klingon border several years after the Dominion War. I was rased by the captain of the ship after deciding to remain in the Federation. I took the name 'Gold-Eagle' after the captian when she died in combat. I then entered the Accdamy. I am currently in command of the USS Shaddow of Logic.

Hello! I'm Jessamyn Strix, but my friends call me Jessa.

Despite what my appearance may suggest, I grew up in Starfleet. I was found on an uncharted planet by the U.S.S Patton in 2389. The Patton had followed a distress signal to the planet, and were surprised to discover a Borg cube orbiting it. The Patton caught the cube with it's shields down and managed to destroy it, but their sensors picked up life signs and evidence of settlement on the planet. When an away team beamed down, they found Borg drones still wandering a ruined colony, and the bodies of settlers littering the ground. These settlers, however, were of a humanoid species Starfleet had never encountered before. Intrigued by the thought of encountering a new space fairing race, they searched for survivors and clues. They found only a few uncorrupted files of population lists and crop rotations, and me, three years old, wide eyed and shaking with terror. The last of my colony.

Once the scant files recovered from the planet had been translated by Starfleet linguists, it was discovered that my people called themselves the Solarin, and that they came from a planet called Solari. The files contained no clues on the location of this planet, however; it seems the Solarin were somewhat of a secretive race, and very concerned with keeping the location of their home planet vague, lest it fall into the hands of their enemies. The files only said "Every Child of Solari knows the way Home." It was also found that my family's name had been Strix. As there was no way to return me to my people, I adopted by Lieutenant Tim Finnigan, first officer of the Patton and his wife Norma, the ship's teacher, who had become very fond of me during my time on the Patton. They, along with their four year old son Peter, became my family. They game me the name Jessamyn, to welcome me into their family, and the name Strix, to remind me of the one I'd lost.

I spent my childhood aboard starships. Peter and I were inseparable, and aboard the Patton (which our father eventually became captain of) we saw what a huge and amazing place the galaxy was. Neither of us ever wanted to settle down and live planetside, we were always looking to the stars. To this day I can't fall asleep right without the low rumble of engines. When we were old enough, we both entered Starfleet. Peter, always the more thoughtful one, wanted to study nebulas, and I, well, I was a pretty good shot with a phaser and wanted to see everything there was to see.

It's a big universe, but I want to see all of it before I die. Who knows? Maybe this Child of Solari can find her way home...

Because their homeworld of Denu was resource poor, the Denurians spread out across the stars, subjugating hundreds of hundreds of worlds to their rule for the better part of a thousand years. During their imperial age, they developed a silicate based psionic amplifier technology that allowed them to focus their active psionic energy into an energetic waveform.

The Denurians abandoned the outter worlds and returned to their barren and sand covered homeworld. There they created oasis cities in the northern and southern hemispheres with the flora and fauna of a thousand worlds. To protect themselves from the retribution of those that they had subjugated, the Denurians surrounded their world in a temporal displacement field, removing themselves from the time stream for three thousand years, living in relative seclusion.

In the recent centuries, they began to monitor the normal timestream, detecting within it the Federation growing closer. The inherent benevolence and individuality exhibited by the Federation's member species, in particular the humans was a curiosity to the Denurians.

Kura came from this highly advanced race. Born into the highest caste of the culture, she possessed advanced powers of telepathy and prescience. In the futures possible, she saw the necessity of allying with the benevolent Federation for the survival of her people. She abdicated her place in succession to the throne of Denu, and sought the approval of her mother, the Revered Matriarch of the Denurians.

With the reluctant blessing of the Denurian Council, she made first contact with the Federation and immediately applied for admittance into Starfleet Academy. She performed superbly on the exam, and pursued a science specialization, specializing on time-space wave forms, but excelling in many fields of science, including xenobiology, geology, and star cartography.

She is now Brevet Captain of the U.S.S. Gom Jabbar-A.

    Designation Celes Lianna Vinedouse.

Very recently liberated from the Borg collective, I resume my life back in Starfleet. I have had a hard time adapting back to a "normal" life, and my unexpected fresh contact with the Borg has left me conflicted with my own self being.

After my captain was killed in duty, I took over his ship, the Miranda class U.S.S. Dizzy Gillespie, after his fondness of twentieth century Jazz. As per his last request, all future ships shall carry on similar names. I have no objection to this, as my crew has shown concern for naming our ships after Borg designations.

I have been fortunate enough to meet fellow captains that have not been cold to my Borg side. This has been most welcome, although very unexpected. It is my hope that I will continue to rebuild my humanity, and that more captains will be able to befriend myself and my crew.

I however, have some of the knowledge of the Borg collective, making myself a valuable tactical captain, as well as a host of skills that should help make me point in combat.

hmmm your story seems somehow familiar ...... i'd swear i read it somewhere in some copyrighted piece of fiction somewhere ..... well all but the "beam of light" part >.>

    Anyhow, here is my bio:
    Captain's log, Stardate 2409.29

As per Starfleet regulation, all captains, myself included, are required to maintain an official log. As such I am compelled to begin this one. As this is my first entry as captain I feel it is prudent to give background information concerning myself.

It is said that moments of utter terror stand out so strongly that the mind can not truely percieve it, and thus the moment is wiped from the mind. For me this is not true. I remember clearly, thanks to the borg collective, the moment I was assimilated. More over I remember the terror and confusion of being prematurely woken from the cryogenic tank my parents had left me in aboard the sleeper ship, the cold hand of a drone reaching for me before the borg nanites took away my individuality, and turned the fear into a curious side note upon their collective conciousness. A side note which remains as such. Just an oddity, as though it happened to someone else.

After that my "story" becomes boring and unimportant for many long years. My group thrived within the collective, assimilating new technology and races, but nothing of note. That is, nothing of note until my cube was sent into Cardassian space as a failed plan by the collective to assault the Federation on a different front. The cube I was aboard assaulted Federation space and, as usual, caused massive damage amongst the Federation fleet, and as usual, the Federation repelled the attack, in this case, by a crew that took the fool-hearty approach of assaulting the cube from the inside. Most likely out of luck, a small away team managed to force their way deep enough into the cube to randomly strike an important node, causing a massive disruption withing the transwarp stabilizers within the cube. Predictably the cube destroyed itself.

As for how I survived, that is sheer coincidence. As part of the collective I and several other drones were sent to assimilate the attackers, an assault which I began right as the Federation team was beaming off the doomed cube. Since I was in contact with one of the members I too was beamed off the cube. I would have continued the assault upon the ship had the destruction of my cube not destabilized subspace such that the borg implants connecting me to the collective ceased functioning. More over, I would not have survived even then if not for the transporter opperator's infatuation with the exploits of the intrepid class vessel named Voyager. His quick reaction to my appearance then subsequent deactivation, from what I was told, prevented the security officers I had assaulted from killing me.

My history after that point was again, unremarkable. I was bounced around from one crew to another, an oddity. After all, what do you do with a former borg drone? It was during this time period I took the name Encari, I believe it was meant as a derogatory term meaning "copy" or more losely translated "drone."

Eventually I decided to join Starfleet, mostly for a place to go for stability. After all, they turn no one away, especially in this time of war. After academy, in which I naturally made top honors, I was assigned as an ensign aboard the "Orbanis," a small, old science vessel that was barely space worthy. My "official" assignment was as an engineer in the field of warp field physics, with the task of making Federation transwarp technology more stable, and feesible, for older vessels such as the Orbanis. I spent most of my time repairing the ship and ensuring it continued to function, as the officers incharge of the research wished nothing to do with me, or my knowledge. It was during such maintinence that my "career" as a member of Starfleet truely began.

And with all such things, it began with a bang. Rather, it began with the failure of a power coupling that regulated the warp core's coolant pumps. I was in a Jefferies tube at the time, and luckily nearby to the failed power coupling. Normally this would not have been an issue of course, but as with all older ships, when one part breaks the rest commiserate, in this case, the power coupling's destruction also destroyed it's nearby redundancies and the mechanism needed to eject the quickly overheating warp core. As the crew scrambled to abandon ship, I moved to stop the destruction, not because I felt a need to save lives, but for the wish of not having to wonder where next I would be stationed. I managed at that point to bypass the faulty coupling and return function to the coolant pumps using myself as a bypass, my borg augmented limbs allowing me to handle power currents much higher then most sentient life could handle. Eventually the strain caused me to lose conciousness. According to the ship's doctor, I was lucky, considering it took several minutes for the crew to find me, let alone repair the damage enough that I was no longer needed as a "bypass." The ship's captain declared it a miracle I survived, and that I had perhaps performed the "most idiotic stunt" he had ever seen.

Not long after I was transfered to a new ship, the NCC. Entropy, and have worked my way slowly to position of captain ever since.

    End log entry ....

Greetings. I am one of three, primary command node of the USS Warspite, although I have also been known as T'Arjia of Vulcan. I am not a native of your dimention. I originate from a quantum reality with a phase variance of .226 in relation to your own.

I attended the United Species Syndicate preperation facilities 1.37 years before I was assimilated into the Borg standing forces, and held the rank of Liutenant. Having reviewed history tapes made available to me, I have determined that the Borg or your quantum reality are quite different to my own, and seem to persue an agenda of galactic wide conquest.

I arrived in your quantum reality by means of an unstable spatial rift. Whatever particles that were eminating from it must have been harmful to electronic systems, as there is no record remaining in any of the Warspite's processing nodes regarding them, or why we ended up here. But, here we are.

After an evaluation of the records of a deralict freighter on the major galactic powers, I have arrived at the conclusion that your United Federation of Planets is very similar to my United Species Syndicate and, as such, I have pledged the Warspite and it's remaining ancillery nodes to ther service of Starfleet.

    Peace and long life.

So yeah, maybe it was a disappointment to both of my Mother's when I didn't join the Imperial Guard.
My half Aenar Father was proud when I was accepted into Starfleet Academy and that's good enough for me.
& if my chan Father isn't griping about my haircut or how I would look better in command red, "if I must wear those Federation garments at home" I consider it a victory.
but don't get me started on the complexities of Andorian romantic relations, or we could be here all day.
I've found a true home with the Federation and a purpose, but like a wise old rogue once said...
"Its not safe out here. Its wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. but its not for the timid"

Introduction by one time mentor scientist Jordial Faal, who was also the decendant of distinguished Betazoid scientist Lem Faal.
BlackSwan Di'Xevar is Daughter of the 7th House Betazoid.... She lived a protected and secluded life early on. Mostly due to the fact that her parents were worried because she was born with her telepathic powers...... it is then that the rumors are she has had psionic training as well... but none the less as she grew up it was clear she needed more free time and things seemed fine to her parents as far as her "powers" were concerned.
Being the daughter of diplomatic ambassadors had it's perks...... her education was paramount.....she began serious science study at a very young age....she is masterful in her craft and became enamored with space travel so she spent quite abit of time learning everything from flying to anthropologic studies including popular galactic dancing. She enjoyed the parties very much and socialite standing that came with her heritage . She's met quite a few Federation Officers thru out her travels so it was no suprise that when time came to bolt from Betazed she'd run there.......The Federation..........i'm sure they will make good use of her talent...*smirks sarcastically*
Let me back up, Betazoid tradition has children genetically bonded to a future spouse..... and this did not go well with the plans of the young formidable scientist that had it in her to do nothing but party and travel across the stars....So essentially BlackSwan has run off and joined the "Circus"! A tantrum that may change her life forever! It seems she's hooked up with a Captain of some mystery.... i think His name is Syd... but that is just a rumor not much known about Him except she's been seen with Him.

    Xeraphim Ydal Zaadhar

    Race: Xyndaal
Not much was known about the Xyndaal until a colony ship entered Federation space in 2388, harboring all that was left of their people after their home world of Zirci was assimilated by the Borg. They are an adaptable, humanoid species, usually dark skinned, with colorful patterns in the center of their head/face and small dual spines on either side. Topknots are the preferred hairstyle. Average height is between 6' and 7' and their eyes are usually yellow or golden.

Since they are currently so few in number, less than 1,000, they tend to stick together as their secondary directive is to eventually relocate and repopulate their species. Prime Directive, of course, is the same as Starfleet's, being it is all they currently have.

Xeraphim entered Starfleet at an early age, having arrived as a child on the survivors colony ship. She raised in ranks at a standard pace, entering the Science field hoping to one day captain a Science vessel of her own. Her First Officer, Zaaq Vyzarth, and her sister, Vextra, graduated in the same class.
She is black skinned, with red markings and a white topknot. She has golden eyes and stands 6'6" tall.
