Lt.Commander skills still greyed out after promotion.

Subject says it all.

Have completed the Lt. Commander promotion mission, am using my new cruiser, but still unable to train
any Lt.Commander skills.

Not Saurian however, chose the Unknown race.

    man, i can't even figure out how to get ther promotion in the first place

    You have to use enough points in the Lt. skills before they are open. I think its around 9-10 per tier.

    Also, check the cost.

    Lt Commander skills are 200 points per rank up. If you're used to buying a rank everytime you get 100 points, you may thinkt here's a problem when you got to rank up with only 100 points available.

    I think they still shouldn't be grey if you just don't have enough skill points...

    you also have to have the LT skill before learning the LT commder skill
