The Klingons were right! Tribbles are the most dangerous things in STO watch out before they eat you!
They start off harmless enough but give them to your officers and watch out!

Yes, I've experienced and reported this same tribble trouble.
I gave the tribble to one of my away team officers and it's not bad enough that he can't stop rubbing the darn thing, but every time he does it, the fur-ball grows exponentially!

In fact, my NPCs will actually STOP fighting in ground combat so as to stop and pet their tribble! (which will eventually grow larger and larger)
What are tribbles supposed to do, anyway? I know one of the pre-orders had a tribble that healed you or something...
...is there any purpose to them?
