Cannot spend skill points

A bit of a show stopper here.

I'm a saurian with over 6800 skill points and every time a try to spend them I get an error. I know a bunch of people are experiencing this as well.

    I've got the same bug, sort of. If you just keep trying to spend your skill points eventually they will spend but it really is irritating and takes away from gameplay.
