This has bugged me for some time. The reported speeds on the speedometer report several lightyears a second in sector space, but looking at systems (which I assume are stationary) I don't think I see the numbers change that fast.
Yeah, my speedometer usually says something like "25.6 Ly/Sec"...well there are systems that are about 5 LY away...I should be there in about....instantly.
When in reality...I'm moving toward a system, the system is closing from 5 LY...it takes me at least 20 to 30 seconds to get there. In reality to the game, I'm going more like 0.16 Ly/Sec. So...I would guess it's probably off by about a 100 factor (at least 2 decimals). I would like the speed to be displayed just above or below the throttle bar permanently, instead of having to hover over it.

According to the maximum speed of the slider in Sector Space, Voyager could have returned to Earth in under an hour.
or is it 100, i can't remember
"np cpt i left my wallet at home so i was gonna turn around anyway lol"
So it is a bug?
