More bad lag in Voth Battlezone and sphere space. Lag seems to be all over the game in general at this point, but worse in battlezones. Cryptic needs to fix something...
So I thought maybe something had changed as yesterday for me was pretty lag free most of the day. An occaisonal spike, but nothing too bad.. thought things were looking up.
Then today, I got the Shran in the ship sale and took it to Argala to level it for the trait. The lag was so bad I couldn't even use the pilot maneuvers, and every time I gained a mastery level the server seemed to hard freeze. I would be flying around then everything would lock for 5-6 seconds, then the message would appear that 'You have achieved level X in your Shran Pilot Escort.'
I also did a red alert and it was just as bad.
It was pretty brutal, I unlocked the trait, but then just logged off.. not going to try and play when I can't even activate my abilities. Overall, I can't find anything to pin it down, sometimes I am 100% lag free and other times.. the server seems barely functional.
I hope they figure this out soon, it's quite annoying.
I've been getting rubberbanding/stalls and lag for a long time. Been a problem ever since those so called server updates they did when we had what felt like endless hours of downtime.
I've even upgraded my internet to superfast fibre BB from standard BB with no difference in game performance. 8mbps to 63mbps
But I know there's a problem when playing ground and you have power tray misfires, something I've never experienced previously in over 8 years of playing.
