I may get the 4 piece set to replace my counter command set... though I'm not rushing to do this at all. when the marks are added to the events I'll already be doing will be soon enough for me.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

Another Quantum torpedo, I mean I guess makes sense for the fact it is Dark Matter, but was hoping new thing would be a Transphasic (I mean I can't remember any Rep sets having a Transphasic at all...or even Tricobalt launcher type). I'm honestly looking forward to the Heavy DBB. Something different for a slightly sometimes underused type of weapon.

True; unlike NSF, there is a corresponding armor which can be used for the set (much like how some gear sets have a choice of DEW, and the TTF ground set can use the rifle or bat'leth to count for its weapon.

Note as well the mention of archaeological expeditions (note correct spelling, Kael - and didn't someone demonstrate how to turn text into links so as to avoid naked URLs? - in the very first paragraph. That could, were folks interested in putting in the effort, a launchpad for something akin to WoW's island expeditions (with due diligence to avoid their initial shortcomings)...

The Lorca set will be useful on the current build that I have.

The Stamets / Tilly set sounds like it will be good for Cruisers and be terrible for Escorts since it scales off of your Hull Capacity. Unless it is supposed to be your Hull Capacity Percentage.

I may I have enough Rep point built up that I can fill this one out in one go. Funny, though, I like the ones I'm already using so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But I'm sure someone will find it useful.

Read the whole thing and found nothing useful. The well is running dry for new ideas it seems.

Guys keep things civil and on point. Folks are free to voice their support or lack of for the new rep, but flaming the devs and/or other users is not permitted.

I'm not overwhelmed by the new reputation, but i can see some potential use for certain items.

The Burnham ground set with the QCQ/EV could be interesting with the Vulcan lirpa from the Halloween mission (forgot the name). Too bad i am not really into melee combat.

The Lorca set with the Heavy DBB could potentially be a useful addition to phaser/ disruptor/quantum torpedo builds. Devil is in the details though and it all depends on the actual stats.

The T5 power Non-Baryonic Asteroid, combined with the https://sto.gamepedia.com/Trait:_Heavy_Tachyon_Mine could be very interesting for mine layer builds. This is another wait and see.

I will probably get the rep done on some characters, but that is merely for the Tier 5 dilithium and marks reward.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    No.

I do. Tier 5 and especially Tier 6 are a bit annoying to reach, bt Tier 5 usually means a great sum of Dilithium. New Reputation stuff can include interesting items, and it usually also means new playable TFOs. More variety overall.

There are two things I am concerned about with that torpedo:
    - Disintegration sounds cool, but it might be undesirable if it means ships don't warp core breach in the center of my gravity wells.
    - Damage Over Time tends to be weak, particularly for torpedoes that already have some time to target.

The worst case scenario here might be that you torpedo spread a bunch of frigates and a battleship or dreadnought all stuck in your gravity well, and the frigates disintegrate with no warp core breaches damaging the battleship or dreadnought.

On the other hand, a DOT torpedo could be useful for Battleships and Dreadnoughts or higher difficulties were enemies don't melt as quickly.

Missed the disintegration part. Yeah, that may very well make the Dark Matter Quantum a big no-no for any science/GW build. Should be useful against the voth with their repair ships, but then again how long do those usually last.

Somewhat happy to see a new rep, but not happy that I'm going to spend months of mindless grind getting it to T6. No, no I will not grind anymore on any alt that is now just for storage for my main. There is no incentive in this game to make alts for other than that. The grind wall has become too high guys. You just refuse to believe it, or just don't care.

    A new rep. Yay.

Too bad I have no need for new space sets. I mostly grind for ground sets to slap on bridge officers. But this set isn't very appealing, other than perhaps an EV suit to use besides those glorified mining suits.

Rep's aren't meant to be enjoyed they're something to coax you into doing something that (in theory) might be enjoyable such as the phenomenal(ly bad) peril over pahvo stf.

This one has an awful sounding name that stretches the term legend even closer to breaking point than the marvel tv show did Some of the gear bits are a real mouthful cobbled together with names from discovery to make them sound somehow legit.

If the melee from that ground set doesn't auto close it'll be a repeat of the tsunkatse handjive.

Wait... there was a B5 episode that shares a name with a set bonus?

Allow me to clarify a bit.. because I do basically agree with you.

I appreciate additions to the game, and I also appreciate that the new reputation will bring with it new ground and space items to play with and possibly work into my build(s). I consider it a positive that things are so actively being added to the game, it shows that the game is still going strong after 9 years plus.

What is not enjoyable is the reputation process. Running the reputation projects day after day for months gets tedious and tiring as does grinding for thew new mark type on all my characters.

I appreciate the additions, and the effort the staff made to put them in the game. What I don't enjoy is the process, I think there are already FAR too many reputations and adding another one is a change I am personally not thrilled with.

Will I do it? Of course I will.. because I always do. I was just hoping that the reputations were over and done with.

I'm cool with them. I need to figure out who will get one set. If the colors of the attacks from the space armament set is purple, then I'll totaly give it to my Jem'Hadar Vanguards. Also I hope the ground set is great for my BOFFs who I want to be close combat.

At this stage, to further expand on the making Reputations less of an Account grind, just make it that if a Character reaches Tier 5 in any Reputation you are considered sponsored for ALL Reputations on the Account.

Let me chime in my solution.

For Anyone who completed, Battle at the Binary Stars, Pahvo Dissension, Peril Over Pahvo, and/or Operation Riposte TFOs, should get 250 marks retroactively per TFO (That’s a 1000 Marks for all of them so far) The marks can be claimed by EACH Character, NOT just the first one.

This jumpstarts the Reputation System for Discovery Legends Reputation! As it gets most people thought most of Tier V (within 225 Marks of Tier VI)

Yes, though as far as B5 episode names go that one is so generic that it could be that the devs didn't know about that episode, by the way "Objects in Motion" is the 20th episode from season 5 of B5 aka the season they had no ideas for because they didn't think they would get another season. In case you're wondering they used the plans they had for season 5 at end season 4 in a rushed manner.

It's not like "In The Shadow Of Z'Ha'Dum " or "Sic Transit Vir" that could only be B5 episode names (due referring things in the show itself)

EDIT:In case it wasn't obvious "they" in the comment about B5's season 5 refers to the JMS's production company, who got screwed over by the network twice in a row, first by telling there wouldn't be a season 5 forcing them to put the planned season 5 storyline at end of season 4 in highly condenced and rushed manner and the giving them a season 5 forcing the production company to start from scratch, due to this season 5 of B5 is generally considering to be of lesser quality then previous seasons.

Yea... B5 season 5 seemed a bit scatterbrained. I kinda liked Lockley though. Commander Sinclair was kidna meh, and Captain Sheridan was pretty good. Would have been nice to see more of Captain Lockley and get to know her better than we did.

You can't fill new Reputation with other Reputation marks.
Also current choice marks boxes will not have future Rep marks,
though I think once the new Rep goes online, any newly earned choice of marks boxes from Endavour will have the new marks too.

Are you sure, you did not mistake it with Specialisation?
