Infinity Prize Packs- recommendations on what to get?

I've bought a master key ring bundle with converted dil and opened twenty boxes and gained two weapon packs and two T5 ships. With 25 options for weapons to choose from, I have no clue which ones are better than others since the vast majority of the weapons I have are the vanilla versions of each one. Because I have a dozen characters that between them use all 6 main energy types I'm not restricted in which ones I can use.

The T5 ship boxes (awarded to a Romulan toon) seem like a bust; the few ships that do cone with a console require shelling out lobi for the other half of the 2-piece set, the exceptions being the Ferengi and Voth offerings. I already have the Nandi from the former set, while the Bulwark is obtainable from the latter via some unspent UR Phoenix tokens. Since I have two packs, it would seem I should just get one of each, or am I missing something?

I'd suggest picking up a couple of the Mirror Romulan ships to add to your Admiralty Cards if you don't have any of them.

T5 mirror universe ships also unlock the MU skin for their T6 counterparts (per character), if the OP uses one or might use one then that might help inform ship choice here.

I ended up with I think 6 of the t5 ship boxes. Pretty much all the ones at the bottom of the list (ferengi d'kora, voth bastion, Undine Nicor, Hirogen hunter, etc.) sell for 5~ million credits on the exchange, which isnt bad if you're not already rich.

The Hirogen hunter heavy escort has a universal console that is pretty useful, it flips your ship 180 degrees instantly, can be very good for larger/slower ships. It can be used 3 times before going on cooldown (basically gets a 'charge' every 60 seconds or so, and stores up to 3 charges).

As was mentioned, the mirror romulan ships are very good for admiralty. I already had the 3 main ones (Mirror ha'feh, ha'nom, and ha'apax), each one has the bonus of ignoring event modifiers for tactical/science/engineering, which makes them really useful for some missions. You can also use the skins on t6 versions as was noted above.

Personally I picked up the lukari N'kaam t5 scout ship, and made a lukari-themed character (lukari looking alien, full lukari/kentari crew, lukari colony outfit and rep gear, etc.) and it's been a really fun character to play around with. There are only 3 lukari ships in the game (N'kaam t5 scout, Dranuur fleet t6 scout, and Hokuun t6 science ship), but all 3 can interchangeably use each other's costumes, so if you get the boomerang-looking dranuur or the triangular hokuun, and you have the t5 n'kaam, you can make them look like a flying saucer =P

I sold several of the ships and kept one t5 ship box unpacked in my bank to save for a rainy day, just in case something useful happens with them.

As for weapons, kelvin timeline weapon packs sell for a decent bit, as do undine fluidic antiproton weapons.

I search the exchange, find which of the possible T5 ships is selling the highest, pick that one and put it on the exchange. For what I get for that one ship on the exchange, I can purchase of number of the others for Admiralty cards if desired, however I generally just hang on to to the ECs for the times when something comes up that I truly desire. A single ship that I can use on a single toon just isn't as valuable to me as the numerous other things I could get with the ECs.

Of course I rarely open boxes anyway. Occasionally I'll buy the key ring bundle. When I do, I always open 5 boxes only and sell the rest of the keys. Sometimes I get lucky and those 5 boxes net me either something I really like, or stuff worth more ECs than I would have gotten for the keys, most times I would have been better of selling the keys but since I can always find good uses for the lobi I don't begrudge the 5 keys used.

I just wish there were any easier way of figuring out which one of the possible ships/items is worth the most ECs. I've got like 8 infinity boxes for traits, manuals etc that have been in my bank forever, none of which I want or need for my own use and it's such a time consuming pain having to, one at a time, inspect the box to see what I can get, search the exchange to see what it's worth, write it down, then go to the next until I have prices on them all that instead I just let them sit in my bank and collect dust.
    LTS and loving it.

Yeah I forgot about that one, if folks are still looking for what to pick then that I would also recommend in the category of "it's different" (both aesthetically and in that it's a scout-class science vessel.) APU cruiser I've also dabbled with just for the funsies, less direct RP and crew building potential but I've seen some folks get creative with it (ex. SGU theme.)

The romulan ships from the T5 boxes are maybe the rarest because the boxes are bound to the character that opens them.

Similar problems arise with the trait boxes where career ones are locked behind the class that opens them because of the way the box is bound.

Something I really wish cryptic would change is the boxes that drop from the infinities going from character to account. Also allowing the T5 boxes to stack properly which they don't if you have the older ones.
