So what happens to the Walker with the opening of T6 ships to all levels?

To elaborate, Ambassador Kael just posted news that tier 6 ships will be open to all levels. The article mentions the prototype scaling Walker ship. With the existence of the T6 Walker, which ship survives since they are now redundant?

    They both survive. The prototype will stay as it is most likely, and the Lobi becomes scaling. It's likely that all C-Store ships that are not T6 will have a reduced cost.

    Probably nothing. It will still be sold, just like T1 - T5 ships.

    No, you will not be able to upgrade T1 - T5 ships to T6.

    Yes, the price of T1 - T5 ships will probably be lowered.

    And they will all automatically come with very rare Benzite bridge officers too; right?

    Have they said whether we will still get tokens to get T1-T5 ships as we level through the game?

    I kind of liked flying some of those ships on new alts.

    This topic hasn't come up yet on Ten Forward (as far as I've heard) but I'll say: "yes, you will."

    New players don't already own T6 ships. The game must still provide tokens at T1-5 for the leveling experience to function properly. The incoming changes simply makes all T6 ships work (re. scaling) like the most recent T6 ships.

    If nothing else, the T1-5 ships you get while levelling are useful in the Admiralty system.
