I’d like to request a feature so that we can take control of our bridge officers, so that we can send our first officers to lead away missions and actually follow Starfleet protocol.

    That seems like a lot of work since boffs are different kinds of objects than captains.

    You can always role-play this by pretending the main character _IS_ your first officer, with the captain remaining off-screen at all times.
