Can't arm 3 weapon slot on ship

So i have 2 low level toons and both got new ships however i try to equip the 3rd weapon slot and it is red lined out as can't equip.

    I have also found this, its the far right front slot, I have tried only the level 10 and level 20 Zen ships, so do not know if you are referring to the ships you get when you level, also on the level 20 ships two of the console slots wont equip anything, the console slots vary depending on which have the 2 and which have the 3 slots but its the far right ones of which ever have the 2 and 3 slots on each ship.

    I noticed it on the level 10 ship but I also noticed once i got to level 15 the slots all opened up, I have not got to level 25 yet on the character, but the same thing might happen when i get to level 25.

    So I think somehow the slots have become level linked.

    just noticed there is already a post for this, it says there is already a fix on the way, so they will prob fix it for easter :)

    Having the same problem. I got 2 tier 2 free ships with a new character playing the Age of Discovery story line when I reached level 10. Those 2 were free ships and thought that if I bought a Zen ship it wouldn't be bugged but I was wrong. I got the Escort, the Science and the Escort Refit and all of them wouldn't let me equip the last slot in the fore weapons and tactical.
    I'm going to push for level 15 like Wodenaz had in hopes that it helps.

    Easter? EASTER I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL EASTER THESE DEVS GET ON IT ON THE DOUBLE OR I WILL LEAD A MUTINY THAT WILL SINK THIS GAME FOR GOOD

    its in the patch notes, and yeah im having the same issue. before swapping equipment from old to new ship i now do it manually and check if i get a replacement shown when i sselect the fwd/aft weapon module.
