You made two horrible mistakes in your post.
1) You mentioned PvP.
2) You suggested that some item might need to be nerfed.
This will automatically cause all kinds of responses that either belittle the importance of the problem, or accuse you of ruining the game for the others and what not.
This never really works.
Best would probably be to state balance problems as advice what to take to really become powerful. Then everyone listens and is excited, you can get rich on the Exchange by selling the trait, and at some point, Cryptic might realize something is up and fix the item. Maybe.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

Actually his best move would have been to learn the bare minimum about the game to not make this kind of blindingly stupid threads. Any thread where someone claims that its impossible to do x without y can be immediately discounted as a thread made by an ignorant individual that has no clue of what they speak.
I'm still getting over the shock people think STO is P2W. They've obviously never played ST:Alien Domain or the Android game ST:Fleet Command!! Both P2W/waiting for days-base-builder/forced PvP/can't get anywhere without spending/have to farm resources/no real game-play games.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
