I could only recommend buying the LTS when it is on sale, but nowadays I wouldn't most times since with everything that has been, lately, reduced in rewards, & then the bugs/glitches that get fixed slowly or never makes it an even tougher sale. Broken accounts, broken items, broken skills, etc. mostly go to the wayside unless Cryptic can make a profit in fixing. But I only know the PC version so maybe the Console version is a better value.

console version is even worse since we seem to only get a patch every 3 months that usually doesn't fix anything that's game breaking, it usually breaks more than it fixes. most patches seem to only fix typos and things that only affect a few players rather than fix the bugs that effect the majority of the players like the queue problem and the fact that if you have a fed aligned jem'hadar you are locked out of 60% of the game because of a patch from sept 11 to name only 2 game breaks that have been around for at few months now.
I actually bought the LTS on PC and XB1. If you play a lot or plan to play for a long period of time, LTS on the PC is an amazing deal as it comes with 500 ZEN/month. I just assumed LTS included ZEN on XB1 but it does not. That is the biggest problem in my mind and a HUGE disappointment. The only reason you may want LTS on the console is if you plan on having many alts. The extra character slots, ships, extra inv, and boff seats add up. I TOTALLY got my money out of the PC version and I am just ok with the XB1 version. If they added ZEN to XB1, then it would be a no brainer.

Except that LTS on Console is MASSIVELY cheaper (by about $100) because it doesn't give a stipend, and you can grind out the Zen for it, which you can't on the PC, so you CAN get it for free. So why should it give a stipend of Zen??
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
When do we finally get the veteran destroyers (and equivalent Captain's Yacht shuttle) advertised in the LTS sale announcement for both FED- and KDF-aligned Jem'Hadar characters? So far they have none as they cannot claim the ones of their alignment factions. Hence, an account that only has Jem'Hadar characters gets ZERO ships out of this.

This would be/is true, so far, as Cryptic hasn't full-filled their promise of a Jem'Hadar LTS veteran ship but why limit yourself to only Jem'Hadar? There's Federation types, there's KDF toons, & then the possibly better Romulan types.
forget the other factions. a new jem char is combat ready in 1h. for other factions you need to grind several months to get them up to speed for any decent tfo.
for me its clear: without the jem vet rewards the current lts sale is worthless even if it would be 200 off!
