Cardassian Bridge Officer

I would like to know if I purchase the Cardassian captain from the CStore could another non-Cardassian captain purchase Cardassian bridge officers.

I have a KDF Alien character who I turned into a Vorta. It is to bad the dominion faction does not have a Vorta option.
