"Resolved an issue that was preventing Bridge Officers from beaming down to Adventure Battle zones."

"Resolved an issue where 360° weapons were unable to hit large targets on the opposite side of where they were equipped."

Thank you for all the fixes... but especially for these!

Looking forward to some of the fixes to actually work tomorrow. Been waiting on Installation 18 since DSC started.

*insert Cryptic never fixes bugs comments here* *insert yes they do points to the above comment here*

Exactly what I have been saying over several weeks. Those who were whinging that this or that has not been fixed, and me saying just because something has yet to be fixed means it has not been forgotten about. These patch notes are proof of me saying just give the devs time. See patience is key. These are an awesome set of patch notes :)

Is Foundry coming back up, perchance? I don't see it listed, any more.

Era appropriate DSC security escorts! If the same happens to TOSlings and includes space (holo and fleet) i'll be a happy targ.

It's a bunch of fixes. I don't understand the reason to flame or complain. CBS is investing in this and people keep crying about "bugs". It takes some time to resolve and set things properly.

fyi Battle for Binary stars isnt coming tomorrow :/

I am cool with that.. a lot of stuff on this list needed to be fixed before new content was added.

I can wait till next week so we can get bug fixes this week.. I am perfectly fine with that.

I often bemoan the whiner's as well, however, my suspicion is that had it not been for the survey results and the forum posts about bugs we wouldn't have gotten such a long list. Great job on Cryptic's part, now if only I could get a stable connection.....

I suspect that most whiners don't get how hard it can be to find out just what is causing the bugs.

Just because something isn't fixed in a month doesn't mean it's being ignored but rather it can be hard and time consuming to find out just what is broken and how to fix it without breaking something critical.

The thing that forum posts and surveys and such help is not guilt tripping Cryptic but rather they provide info for Cryptic detect just what needs fixing.

I hope this patch resolves some of the rubberbanding I've been having with the game since last week. I can do everything I normally do when it comes to internet usage like last night streaming the Juventus game without any issues via Virgin online services but my STO game time either side of that was plagued by rubberbanding.

Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

I have been experiencing rubber banding issues as well.

    • Adjusted Phased-Waveform Beacon damage output to be more in line with other Distress Call devices.
    • Reducing summoned Hur'q damage by approximately 30%.
    BOOOOOOOO

And still nothing about warp out sound bite from being fixed back to what it should be and not that reversed TRIBBLE noise in a paper roll tube?

Are you sure this isn't some mix up and you that you have posted the patch notes for the rest of the year all in one blog? There seems to be a lot of fixes for one day of patching that isn't related to a major update. If the team can accomplish this much in a short time span, then us players are clearly not expecting enough from the STO team when it comes to quality control and in a timely manor.

I for one know how long it takes to fix bugs in programs, I use to work in a computer room around the programmers who were always running and testing sometimes for weeks before the final solution was solved. it is quite possible that alot of these fixes were weeks in the testing, and they decided to lump them all into one big update once they had enough fixed. Although i do not like some of the problems in game, I do realize it takes time to fix. EX I am waiting for a fix for the temporal battlesuit to be able to go on a bridge officer, but for right now, i am managing with a 2nd alternative cause this hasnt been fixed yet, i imagine it will eventually be fixed. Many cutscenes are broke, i know of 2 within the last week i ran across that have been broke for months. Its possible stuff like this takes time to figure out. In my time on this game I have noticed things here do get fixed and sometimes they wait off and dump a ton of fixes all into one gulp rather than nickle and dime us to death weekly. Patience will help get stuff fixed and forums reporting. Then we wait. I personally know of one problem that took over a year before i saw a solution but a solution was eventually found.

    • Resolved an issue where male Klingon Captains were being called “Mistress”.
Damn, a pity I missed that... would have made a male Klingon If I had known...

    Nice list of fixe, nevertheless.

I would believe you except for the fact that in connection with the random TFO system devs asked for reports on which queues were broken and how, never mind that many of us pointed out that we've been making those reports via in-game bug report and forum ditto for years. And that none of these things had ever been fixed *side eyes Undine Infiltrator and Azure Nebula Rescue*. And that we had in the very same thread pointed out that these queues among others were bugged and that they'd never been fixed never mind how many reports we'd made.

Or for that matter when I and other reported the Aid New Romulus missions gone from Available after streamlining. After having been met with a ton of suspicion that it was clearly us who couldn't figure out their shiny new properly, when it became apparent that yes, it was a bug, it all went into radio silence. Not even an acknowledgement that it was bugged, just nothing.

Really, it makes it feel very much like they only read the bug reports they want to read, focusing only on the areas they feel like focusing on, and ignores the rest.
Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end of it.

Yes, I notice the Devs concentrate on particular areas at one time and hold off on doing others, too. I don't think they have enough people to do everything at once.

There isn't as high a priority given to some things players consider as bugs. I assume, some things take longer to sort out, some things are specialized and the people who working on that part of the program are stretched thin doing other things, too.

But all of this stuff need player feedback.
Bug Report forums here....I think is a direct way of getting their attention. Reddit is a jumble, here they have it all in one place. Get your stuff to the top of the pile of bug reports by making a fresh post once in a while. Even make a note when you see it is fixed, so they know it is cleared or when it comes back.

And that is all we can do, tell them what you see, even at risk of sounding like a broken record. They need the feedback so they have something to work off of. They read the Bug Report part of the Forums, at the least.

You can see @engineerb4#4806 and @chrian#9670 go through this stuff here every day.

As for bug tickets....I get the feeling the Devs may not get those in a timely manner. We all seen how wonky the system actually is from our side, doesn't mean it works better going toward the Devs. God knows, how many "hands" it has to cross before Devs get to read those. I am not saying don't make tickets...I am just saying use both avenues to get things across to them.
