C-Store T6 Cruiser recommendation for a tac FED

Hi there! Came back to playing recently and decided to give a go on the c-store ships (already have the T6 Yamato and Guardian).

I'm a tac captain that likes a tanky ship, but also like some dps (not a dps crazy tough), I've seen a lot recommendations for the Arbiter, but it seems to me too much dps centered cruiser, I'm looking for some alternatives, can anyone give some?

Thank you in advance!

T6 Oddsseys are nice. The poster child of Fed Cruiser/Flagship. Have a LC omni seat so you can always get a lvl 3 tac power if desired.
Or, I guess, the most tanky cruisers out there are the Miracle Worker ones. Both come in discounted 3-ship bundles so you get 3 versions for the price of 2.

If you've not started the free Risa ship, you don't have enough time to finish it, but start it and you can finish it up next year. It's not really tanky, its a dreadnought, but it's interesting with 3/5 weapon layout.

The Ytijira has mostly typical cruiser stats.

The Arbiter isn't just offense, the console on it puts up a very powerful temporary shield around you that absorbs incoming damage for a short period. Once it expires, it gives you a hull as well as shield buff. The Arbiter also has a Commander Engineering officer station and the fleet version has 5 Engineering consoles. It's anything but a glass cannon, the Arbiter can do anything except exotic/science focused builds. Want to run single beams? Fine.. Cannons? Fine.. Dual Beam Banks.. great.. no problem.. the Arbiter can handle all of it. It also comes with one of the best star ship traits in the game.

The Odyssey is also a great way to go, but honestly.. I recommend getting it in the faction 3 pack which is more expensive. The Odyssey console set is really nice and is also in a set with the Timeline Stabilizer so it's easy to stack up some nice bonuses.

Oddly, for me..the Miricle Worker ship seems the least tanky of the lot. I actually think if the Miracle worker as more of a damage dealer and less of a 'tanky' ship, but that might just be me or the way I build.

The Ytijira as said above is just a typical cruiser, it's not bad for the price (free) but can't hold a candle to the C-Store offerings. If you want an Event ship to use as a Beam Boat cruiser, the Breen Rezreth is vastly superior.

Sometimes I have problems distinguishing between seaofsorrows and coldnapalm. Maybe mostly because they both share their opinion about the Arbiter and point out very similar things.

Of course, that is simply because it's true.

The only thing the Arbiter is not is large. So if you must have gigantic behemoths to feel like a Cruiser Captain, it's not the ship for you. But for anything else, it's really never a bad choice. The trait alone means you'll never regret owning it, unless you swear off cruisers and escorts forever.

If you are going towards a more beefy cruiser here are some other choices...

    And finally...

you dont want to buy the Miracle Worker Ships Unless you buy the bundle for your Faction, trust me, you will regret not buying the bundle as you will soon find out you need all 3 for different missions and situations.

I dunno if that's entirely true. I bought all three T6 scimitars for my Romulan and honestly the only one I ever flew regular for different missions and situations was the tac version. I also bought a Martok cruiser instead of the bundle and it's performed well in all the different missions I've flown on my KDF.

    MW/engineer = ?

    MW is for Miracle Worker.

Sorry, but that one is obvious.
