Vanguard Jem stuck in injured stance

davefenestratordavefenestrator Member Posts: 10,501 Arc User
My Vanguard is permanently in the injured stance when idle (hunched over, one arm hanging down. other arm bent and clutching their side).

I've changed maps, done (space) queues, changed my stance in the tailor. I haven't played any advanced ground queues and status does not show any injuries.

Any chance he is suffering from ketracel white withdrawal?
When did he have his last fix?
Did you break your drug dependency yet?

Interesting. Is that really a game mechanic? Is that status effect listed anywhere?

yeah there's an icon below your toon's portrait, looks like ketracel white.
It'll either say Ketracel Sated or Ketracel Hunger (something like that).
One of the missions in the gamma quadrant removes the need for ketracel.
Not sure how that affects the damage buff though.

Just to elaborate what which is quote above and say the mission name, I'm posting. No "crucial" new info here - it was said by quantum42 :)

The mission is called "Home" and according to how the quest goes you should be able to use Ketracel White for a boost but will no longer be dependent on after completing this mission. You will have the icon "Ketracel White Sated" after this, without a time set, and "Ketracel White Hunger" icon will no longer appear, which is a good thing.

Note that, if you can, you'd better complete ALL Gamma quadrant's missions (including "Home" the seventh, but also including Tenebris for example) ASAP, since it will otherwise block you (until finished) as I sadly experience now.

Thanks to both of you. Ketracel White Hunger was indeed my problem.
