First Mission Issue (Dominion Jem Ha'Dar)

So tonight I logged in and created a dominion toon, then started playing the first mission. Because of insane framerate lag, I had to quit while fighting the Hurq. I just logged back in, and am on the Dominion ship with Wayun, and the mission says: "First In". I can't restart the mission, and can't talk to anyone in order to progress.

Do I just need to drop the mission? (Will try in a second). If this is the case, it shouldn't be. In previous missions, I've always been able to talk to someone to advance to the point where I last left off. Frustrating to say the least.

    And I can't drop the mission. The option is grayed out. I have no idea what to do, other than recreating the toon :(

    I guess I'll delete the toon and restart :(. Frustrating.

    As I understand it the first mission is not repeatable so it stands to reason that it isn't droppable either because it would require re-acquiring it to try again. So I would think that recreating the character is the only way to fix it

    it takes like only 5 minutes, mostly less than that, to recreate a toon lol
