I don't know about you guys, but I've been getting "back end" patches when I exit the game for the past couple of days (around 5GB), which I can only assume is preperation for VIL next week.

I've been seeing those too, but I don't even get 1% downloaded before the window just disappears.

It's not uncommon for them to skip the weekly maintenance right before a big update.
As mentioned VIL goes live next week so there'll probably be the customary daily downtime to plug holes that appear with the big additions.

Also Neverwinter, I believe.

Sometimes followed by a Wednesday Update and possibly even a Thursday Update.
I think it's new way to avoid any Weekend Updates.
I prefer the Classic Weekend Update.
