Wait time for leaving Armada's

I get having to wait for entree. but Leaving seems a bit much, The wait time alone is a bit outlandish so i hope people can agree on that. Three days wait time for leaving an Armada seems too much of a Punishment if you aim to seek out more Active Armadas, if you got kicked form an Armada; Then i can consider that wait time a reminder for lack of involvement or over all bad behavior and abuse of each Fleet.

I feel that if there is a wait time, then let the Votes decide how long, more votes less wait time, if all vote yes to leave, No wait time, so that Over all Vote of the Fleet should feel like it matters.

    Do you switch armadas often?

If this happens less that once a year per armada member it's probably not worth the developer resources to make and test a change.

There's a waiting time for leaving!? Learn something new everyday. You could ask them to kick you, as I know that is instant if everyone votes.

Some fleet administrative functions have a time delay to prevent individual leaders from making unilateral changes before others can react.

This is of course just a makeshift patch that in practice does little to address the shortcomings of the archaic "guild" hierarchy system every MMO seems obligated to copy verbatim despite it being totally inadequate for the purposes modern MMOs put it to (it was originally designed for organizing players for raids and such, not managing construction investments), but that's what it's trying to do.

There is no Probation time if all leaders vote to leave, or if the Alpha fleet leaders all vote to leave - So, in essence there isn't an issue with the system in regards to leaving an armada. The issue arises when you as a fleet leader re in disagreement with your co-leaders, or when you're co-leaders re hardly on.

Yes, I believe that too plays a part. I'm the only Leader in my fleet, so there's never been such an issue. I ascribe to the 'too many cooks' policy on Leadership.

All leaders must vote on all characters they have in that position. if even one character doesn't vote, then the wait time kicks in.

Recently, my fleet left an armada we had been with since armadas were created. We had to wait 3 days and IMO 3 days is no big deal.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Not offten no, We only had to move Armada's twice. This being our third time doing so in the past 5 years. Still, it doesnt make a three day probation any easier.

The problem with that is if you only have two members, the other two are never on, and the last three leave before making the vote. If it was a matter of vote time, wich it is not. It wouldnt be a complaint or advisement. Over all, i feel the Three day Probation for leaving is an unnessisary Punishment. Unless you leave like three armadas per day. So in short, the probation should only really matter if you leave consecutively or often.
