Good day to you officers.
I am Admiral T'Bel. Command has assigned me to the 32nd Fleet over a year ago when I was just a mere Captain on board the USS Sun tzu.
One can certainly say that there is never a dull moment when one is a Starfleet Captain. The Sun Tzu was originally assigned to DS9. Due to the constant incursions of the Terran Empire in our Realm it was the decision of Starfleet Command to send the Sun Tzu to the mirror universe to bring the fight to the empire rather than just waiting for them to attack us.
In a feat of cooperation, with the Romulan Republic and the Klingon Empire, I was sent with my crew to the mirror universe. The Sun Tzu, a defiant class tactical escort with a cloaking device on loan from the Romulan Republic certainly proved worthy. Our mission, find the Romulans in the mirror Universe and organise the resistance again the supremacy of the Terran Empire.
In this task, and with a pluri-cultural team, we were able to help The Romulans to become a counter power in the mirror universe.
The Success of this mission was key to my promotion to the position of Rear Admiral, Chief of Staff for the 32nd Fleet. This assignment has its challenges, but I long for the days of camaderie on board the Sun Tzu. This doesn"t mean that all threats have been nullified. The Council of Nobles of Betazed have requested from Command for a stronger Federation Presence in their sector. They have faced constant harassment from Pirates that have yet to be identified.
Their demands were accepted, and as a result the 32nd fleet was assigned to the Betazed Sector, we had to re-comission Starbase 275 (DS-11) at the edge of the Betreka Nebula.
Since its return to active duty, this base has come under attack from the Breen. It has been infiltrated on one occasion, followed by a full on attack by two cruisers. I, with the assistance of Commander Soval was able to fold their plans. We were able to disable theirs ships, but not before loosing both the USS Reliant and the USS Trafalgar in the battle.
Though their intentions were unclear, we are now in the process of gathering information in order to find out what might be their next move.
It is my goal here to call on all officers to ask for a transfer to Starbase 275 to assist in the containment of this new threat. No matter how little your contribution might be, you will be commanded for it. The 32nd Fleet, and Starbase 275 needs you. Put in a transfer request to you superior officer that will then arrange for your transfer. Show your Commitment to Starfleet, and experience honor, fortitude, and defend the ideals of Starfleet.
