Klingon Cloaking Sound

I'm pretty sure I've brought this up before but it would be AWESOME if we could get an accurate Klingon cloaking device sound for Klingon ships. Currently, Klingon ships use the Romulan cloaking sound which sounds like this.

However, as I said, it would be AWESOME if we could get this much more accurate Klingon sounding cloak for Klingon ships.

Not sure what your point is. Neither of your videos sounds anything like the Romulan cloak in my first vid. Your second Klink vid sounds almost exactly like my Klink vid while there is not much of a discernible sound in your first vid.

I think her point is that the cloaking sounds change depending on what movie/show/year. the long screechy kilingon cloaks are not that standard in DS9.

That's fine but I never said that there was a "standard" Klingon cloaking sound. I only pointed out that Klingon ships in STO use a cloaking sound that is Romulan and by nature is not a Klingon sound. I also suggested a different sound that has been used for Klingons. Other sounds like the first video @annemarie30 posted could also work. I would be interested to hear a more isolated version of that sound.

Now, don't get me wrong, I never expect this to change in STO. I suspect that cloaks are like explosions. There's only really one explosion animation in the game. Explosions are not coded to factions. Likewise, cloaks are not coded to factions which is why we have a single uniform cloaking sound. It would be awesome though if this were to change in the future.

Um... two at least. Romulan ships don't explode like everyone else, and haven't since LoR. They collapse into a sigularity and photonic shockwave.

There MIGHT be a case for saying Vaadwaur and Heralds explode differently too. Borg... yea that's just a recolor of the standard.

The Kor has a different cloaking sound, kind of like a cross between the Romulan standard one, and the "backwards cymbal strike ran through 80s synthesizer" Klingon one I think you're referring to- I think the Malem uses the Kor one as well.
It's still not the same thing, but it's closer.

I think it would be better to use videos from the actual shows or movies as example, not fan-made material or game effects.
