Shields replacement with more hull plating

as a possible reward from future reputations, missions or lockboxes, it'd be nice to see the option to add thick ablative hull plating to your ship instead of shields. they'd have similar visuals to the current intrepid skin from the last episode of VOY.
the hull plating would use hull and shield skills to vastly boost the ship's damage resistance, hull regen and hull capacity at the cost of all shields.
this would allow for builds that rely on extremely strong hull and hull regen rates.

Capacity is one thing but regen stats are also one of those things that barely make a difference unless they're boosted by a few hundred percent like the protomatter field projector does.
