Want to go to Xbox from PC but can't. Does loyalty matter?

I have been playing STO since beta. One of the few MMOs that I often go back to. I recently purchased an XB1X and it has changed the way I game as I now prefer most of my games there instead of the PC. As such, I would love to start playing STO on the xbox as I think it will renew my interest in the game but here is my problem.

1) I am a lifetime sub
2) I have spent 8 years building out my account on the PC
3) I have spent hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on this game over 8 years
-I own every single "pack" in the game
-I own just about every single ship bundle in the game
-I own just about every single special BoFF in the game
-I own just about every costume in the game
-I own just about every special unlock from collectors edition, to del taco cup, to 3rd party giveaways
-I have literally unlocked about 90% of the store
4) I have spent thousands of hours in game

What do I get for all that on Xbox? A Khan outfit that everyone gets when you connect the two accounts..........

Now I realize that they are two different games. I realize they aren't connected. I realize this question has been asked a bunch and PW has made statements on this but I feel this isn't a technical question or a policy question. For me it's a customer service/loyalty question.

Is there anything that PW does for someone in my situation that would like to start playing on Xbox but just cannot stomach starting over with a zero day account?

Are there any other options? Say selling my STO account and using that money to buy things on my Xbox account?

There are so many good "loyalty programs" in the game world and the retail world I wish there was something here too. Maybe there is and I just don't know about it yet. I'm looking for anything.

It is a policy question whether or not you personally define it that way.

Cross platform play was vetoed by Sony, Cryptic and Microsoft wanted it but Sony blocked the whole thing.
One of the many reasons that I don't buy Sony products.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Treat sto on console as you might a second f2p account on PC. On console there's no stipend so much less incentive to get one

No reason to be chasing all the ships or costumes as you already have them on the main account and instead only go for the things you like using.

Wait til they run a promotion like the temporal recruit and start from there. Doesnt take long to level a character and as far as the reps go the only ones that I struggled with on ps4 was lukari and competetive mainly due to the awful BZ, and dead pvevp queues since red alerts don't exist on console.

Selling your sto account is against the tos, same way it is with every other mmo

There is also a 'backend' issue that prevents cross-platform play as stated by the Dev's, there will also be differences in the data.

The reason we can't play has nothing to do with loyalty and it has nothing to do with 'Customer Service', it's all a technical issue, that's it and there is no recompense due because we can't play cross-platform. Cryptic have been very, very clear from day one that cross-platform is not (yet) possible, so there is no bad customer service. There is platform loyalty for subs.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

I'm not asking for a technical solution because I know that is out of the question. I understand and realize all the reasons which is why this SHOULD really be a loyalty issue.

For instance, I have been a long time customer of a certain car maker. I've bought 8 of their cars in the last 18 years. I would never expect that I get a free car but they have a loyalty program that incentivizes loyal customers. I get a few grand knocked off my purchase from the manufacturer.

When I fly a certain airline I am incentivized to use a specific carrier because they have a program that rewards loyalty. Why is something like this not available here?

I would not expect this when the xbox offering was new but now that it has been around for a bit, why not try to capitalize on your existing loyal customers? Why not try to get me to spend more of my time and money on the xbox platform? I'm not asking for my account to be replicated but seriously...look at the time/money investment I've made and for that I get a Khan outfit. Throw us a bone is all I'm saying.

not true. There are games out there that support selling and trading accounts. Eve online comes to mind. It may be against the STO ToS but it isn't universal with all games. I would say MOST games don't allow this but it happens anyway.

    1. and it paid itself out in in-game stuff in 2-3 years
    2. in return you had fun, maybe
    3. so you got the things, you have paid for and the transaction was done
    4. and you had more fun ...
