SRS Officially in Maintenance Mode
"Hello everyone.
As you know since Cryptic removed the foundry almost all activities in SRS fleets have stopped. This is due to the fact that our entire MRP system was built around the 50 odd missions (with many more being built) available, all foundry. It is now clear that Cryptic never intend to replace the foundry and with no alternative such as the much promised and never delivered exploration system, there clearly isn't enough to do in this game as a fleet. Running ISA for the 15 thousandth time is not my idea of fun.
SRS has been built over the last 7 years and is in fact 7 years old this month, 18th June. In that time we have seen many missions and entire systems being removed leaving less and less to do as a group. The much-anticipated fleet versus fleet PvP never materialised, they removed the Genesis exploration system and now the foundry. They removed so many missions and systems that there is very little left for us to do that we are not bored to death doing.
I for one will not abandon SRS, but I am no longer playing the game, it has nothing left for me, it is a shadow of it's former self and now exists purely to make money from loot boxes.
So, until this game is radically changed SRS will no longer be active in STO, at least I won't be. If others wish to run events please do so, nobody is stopping you, but I see that since I left there has been almost no events on the MRP sheet for nearly two months.
SRS Holdings will be maintained with projects slotted.
Any questions should be addressed to our Facebook group or by emailing me from the website. The Website has a domain paid for up until next February 2020, after that time it will revert to a free domain. Updates will be sent out.
I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions over the years, it has been a great honour to have fought alongside you all and I think now of the people we have lost, people like JB, Cav and others, I'm sure they would be saddened as I am.

Special Reconnaissance Squadron is recruiting again. SRS is a group of 7 fleets, many of which specialise in different areas of the game. We are an international group based out of the UK. We have event organisers in most timezones. Everyone is welcome to join and you will find us laid back but professional, family friendly and helpful. Our website has many current builds and our Discord server is usually buys, especially in the evenings, should you wish to chat verbally.
We have access to all holdings maxed out and our Colony World is approaching T4.
Uniquely we have a our very own Mission Replay Points system which uses combat log data to track your progress as you play events. There are around 2000 events per year and you are measured on DPS, Threat, Healing and team damage %, this, coupled with bonus events for each week will end up giving the player a score which is added to our ongoing leaderboards. At the end of the year there are some pretty big prizes, as seen below.
Events vary hugely, but we have many many custom built foundry episodes that are open to all, reward dilithium and are fantastic fun. Here are a few of the events we are putting on at the moment and a few past ones as examples.
