Hello fellow STO players,
I'm happy to inform all of you that
Priority One Podcast will be interviewing Maria Rosseau, Star Trek Online's Producer (A.K.A.
@ZeroniousRex), Al Rivera, Star Trek Online's Lead Designer (A.K.A.
@CaptainGeko) and Stephen Ricossa, Star Trek Online's Executive Producer (A.K.A.
@salamiinferno) tomorrow, December 15th.
As always when we have interviews such as this we would like to reach out to you, the STO Community for questions that you would like us to ask. Please keep in mind that this is a very high level interview, so questions on things like Art, UI or Ships etc will likely not get answered. As always we will try and get through as many questions as possible but please keep in mind that we will not be able to get to all questions as we have a limited amount of time for this interview.
I want to thank all of you who reply to this post in advance and we will do our best to get as many questions answered as is possible. This interview will be available to the public on Friday, December 22nd at

Secondly, why can't ground combat pets stay summoned until they die (or until mission end or area change)?
These are the voyages of the U.S.S. Pioneer...
Silly question: Who has the best desk in the studio? Does this desk contain consumables that can be raided? Have any of you raided it recently? What raiding strategies can you share? If the desk owner is listening, feel free to lie to preserve your secrets.
General comment: Thanks again for seeing the Foundry through its recent rough patch.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
#2) Any update on the scoreboard or competitive marks for PvP queues? The scoreboard has been missing most of the year and competitive marks haven't been dropping at all from actual PvP queues.
2. Shouldn't the new raider (T6 Breen) come with an Experimental Weapon of its own (aka the old Heavy Weapon)?
3. Would there be a "fix" for the fact that Alien class does have a total of 20(10/10) available traits, while canon classes have 19? (9/9 and a specific trait that is mostly ground). Should we be punished marginally for picking pre-made classes?
4. When will the Season 15 pop-up and can we expect another free toon slot and a new recruitment event?
5. What would the solution be with new ground weaponry? I agree that there's plenty to choose from, but some alternatives are more than welcome, especially when it comes to specialized types of weapons, especially types of weapons that would benefit specific classes/builds?
6. Is having a higher base total of available (active) boffs a viable design choice atm? (aka 4 ground+5 space = 9 base boff slots?)
I'd also like to appreciate and applaud the ideas that have pressed this game further this far and the hard work brought into the title.
any new stuff for Foundry soon?
My character Tsin'xing
If the answer is “no” then please ask:
Why?
Thank you.
Looking for a fun PvE fleet? Join us at Omega Combat Division today.
Building on this: if not, could we at least see a fix for the accolades and the now unobtainable uniforms?

Are there any plans to make changes to loot drops / do an inventory revamp? Like removing food stuff and other consumables that can also be replicated to reduce the clogging up of players' inventories with mostly useless items and thereby improve player experience?

Will the Tzenkethi and Drantzuuli storyline take as long to unfold as the Iconian one? Or will we see more different storylines instead of one overarching story that will go on for years?

Yep, I posted a whole thread on this recently. Death Match pvp challenge map, doesn't even need to be a new map, just let us make a free for all battle or something other than two teams.
I just wanted to make another post to say that any questions beyond this point will not get included in the interview. I would also like to thank everyone again who took the time to post up questions. We will try our best to get as many of them answered as possible. This interview will be available next Friday, the 22nd of December at http://priorityonepodcast.com/ in episode 347.

What I meant was that the Iconian storyline (them influencing other species such as the Undine and thereby partly causing the Klingon-Federation war, using the Tal Shiar as a proxy and hugely influencing the entire Romulan faction etc.) had been running for five years or so.
I wasn't specifically referring to the amount of episodes in the Iconian arc, but rather how the Iconians had been on the background for a very, very long time and influencing the events of many other story arcs.

Yes, I think you've said so before. Just wasn't entirely sure I remembered it correctly.
Thanks for the info.

Please post a reminder for the podcast here...I am going to bookmark this thread. Thanks.

Are you aware of exactly how many times there are where you've paid for voice work and we never hear it? There are so many broken audio points, even some broken cinematics with incorrect visuals. It makes one wonder if you ever actually play your own game at all.
