What about the old Sarr Theln model as a Breen Science, Command or Temporal ship?
Or this 'Breen Dreadnought' as ... uhmmm ... a battleship? modelled after @artan42 's face
Still one of the saddest days in STO I can remember is when they decided to switch models on the Sarr Theln...then give us the rather lack luster model that is far to small for the frigates it can deploy.
I suspect it'll be a breen ship of some sort seeing as they and Andorians are really the only races that are associated with cold climates and no the Borg aren't an viable alternative, they are associated with a polar (excuse the pun) opposite of cold climates as the "default" Borg climate settings have nearly 40 degrees celsius ambient tempeture (that's about 105 degrees or so farenheit so we're talking really hot here) and also really humid that's something you'd get in India not the artic circle.
while cold air is really dry and cold (well duh)
But a Snow Borg Icecube is an appropriate alternative for the Winter Event.
Personally I'm more intrested on seeing how they'd impliment the Crossfield-class, the Walker-class seems like a bog standard scout ship (so either an escort or escort like science ship), with the Crossfield-class what makes it special is something that will intresting to see how they'll impliment it, but that's a topic for another thread not this one.
It will be a T6 version of the Plesh Brek. After that, I would love to see an Aenar cross-faction version of the Kumari, though unlikely. T6 Plesh Brek is the frontrunner. And those who don't like it, don't have to get it. I am looking forward to it though on my end, as I love the Breen stuff.

Next year's up in the air. Consoles will most likely get the Sarr Theln, but as PC already had it... could be anything.
When I asked my Magic 8-ball whether the Winter Event Ship would be T6 Plesh Brek, it answered:
'It is certain'

Well if they are keeping with a cold theme, thy dont have to be restricted to Breen, they can look at the Andorians, the Aenar, even Remans.
Personally, I would love to see a T6 D'kora.
But as they did with the Hoverboards to celebrate Back to the Future, it is Spaceballs 30th anniversary this year, so Lonestar's Eagle 5 Winnebago would be amazing and hillarious
Andorians won't happen because they're a Fed species (Founding member at that), and thus not a valid choice for a cross faction ship. Aenar are an offshoot of the Andorians, and so... again... not exactly a valid choice. Remans are a Romulan Republic member, so thee same argument as the Andorians.
Andorians are one of the 'Founders of the Federation'.

So are Risians and Xindi.
Anything goes.
is Risa even a federation member? the Xindi are federation members but not a prominent one like the andorians who are one of the "big 4" who founded the federation (andorians, humans, tellarites and vulcans).

Yes, Risa is a Federation member. Andorians are not that prominent either, having appeared only a handful of times before Enterprise and usually as extras. In fact xindi have appeared in almost as many episodes as andorians.
And of course the andorian ships are pre-Federation design anyway. The faction restrictions are just arbitrary as usual.
Count me in for believing in the Breen. For one last time. I doubt it would be MW spec, but am not so sure about this.
Of course Winter Event is the start of the cycle (winter, anniversary, summer giving us one each of tac, eng, sci), so the hardest to predict. But then this is pretty much a given after last year (they could have gone a different route from the start).
As for Andorians: they may not have appeared that often in canon, but lore wise they are waaaaay too fed to be able to supply a ship to other factions. Though the Vulcans inspiring Romulan design on the new Rom-Vesta may have set a precedence (but Roms and Vulcs do share ancestry, so there's that).
My mother was an epohh and my father smelled of tulaberries
Ok long shot on this one, but since it was tng 30th anniversary, how about “Q’s vessel” from the tng pilot, a fast ship with barrier console And maybe a nice chance to try something new. For example, universal beams, they become the energy type you get attacked by. If you get hit by polaron , your beams will fire polaron back. After all it is Q’s vessel.if that would be an option. The barrier console speaks for itself I think, creating a u-shaped barrier to lock your enemy.

Crossfield might make a good Intel Cruiser.
Maybe an Intel Destroyer or Battlecruiser. It's quite small after all.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

it was called a "science ship" on-screen though but who knowns and it's not really related to the winter ship anyway.

While seen rarely Andorians are prominent storywise (being one of the 4 primary founders of the United Federation of Planets), the Xindi are just one of the 150 members, Tellarites have appeared even fewer times on-screen then the Andorians but still are prominent federation members in the way I meant.
Let me think what would require the least effort and imagination...... with that in mind it will be..... A T6 Breen Raider slightly updated model and stats job done.

Hail Tacofangs.
I think the more interesting question is: what specialization(s) will it have?
..or we could just get a breen shuttle.. with skis mounted on it for the new 'X-Treme' downhill shuttle-cart racing minigame.
Call it a Snowball and have for base visuals... a white hull, white default weaponry, emits red impulse trails, and green window lighting.
Or
A full away team of Assimilated snowmen Boffs. The players get to choose the profession.
