I know a good portion of you guys take some time to really develop the characters you play.
This is where you can show off your hard work.
Take screen caps of your Captains and their Bridge Officers. Add some details about them if you like.
Show off your stuff, STO!

Captain Waysou
Images:
A Kurolarian pirate, Waysou was orphaned at a young age and later raised by a pirate captain, who saw potential in her and brought her aboard. Not one to just hand things over, her surrogate mother made her earn everything in her life, from a place to sleep to a meal to eat. She grew up learning how to fight, disable ships, crawl into tiny spaces to do her job, steal without getting caught, and kill mercilessly when her demands were not met. She also learned about how to read people, to gauge their actions and motivations, and to predict their behavior. She was made to read and think, to learn, to be more than a bloodthirsty savage, to always have a plan, and to understand that The Plan will go awry and require creative thinking on the spot. As her surrogate mother once said, "A keen mind is like a blade. It will save your life and can be used to get anything you want, but without one, you are vulnerable to a universe that would readily take advantage of you."
Above all else, though, she learned that crew is family, crew does not abandon each other or steal from one another, and crew should be picked based on what they bring to the family, not what they bring to a job. Talent can be outsourced. Family cannot.

K'ahoc - The first mate.
Images:
Growing up as a farmer for the minor House of Qehi, K'ahoc understands the value of finesse over brute force, as crops will grow properly when guided, not forced. Farming, though, was not his true calling. This was made apparent when an assassination attempt was made on the Lady T'odith while on a tour of the farms. K'ahoc saw the assassin coming in for the kill and very quickly disemboweled him with a farming trowel. Unfortunately, the assassin was a member of one of the Great Houses, and much time and money was spent to cover it all up. The deceased's family wanted K'ahoc's head, but that was overruled. Instead, he was officially dismissed from service. Knowing he would be a target, Lady T'odith arranged for him to be smuggled offworld, gave him some money and provisions, and promised him that should he need help one day, all he needs to do is call.
K'ahoc wound up on Drozana Station, and that's where he met Waysou. Their relationship was antagonistic at first, but it grew into respect, comraderie, and eventually love. If any couple could be known as a perfect match, it's them. Similar in temperament and values to Waysou, he is the voice of caution when she is advocating a rampage. He is the one demanding retribution when she is willing to let an insult go unanswered. K'ahoc may come from farmers, but his heart is that of a warrior, something that only Lady T'odith saw.

Midaa Nobanthu
Images:
A member of the Mirrorverse's Order of the Obsidian Talon, Midaa is an assassin who uses her gifts as an Orion to get close to her target and eliminate them. It was on such an assignment on Terok Nor where her mark figured out what was going on and tried to escape using a Multidimensional Transporter. Before he could complete the transport, she leapt upon him, sinking her blade deep into his throat, killing him instantly. Unfortunately, she and the body were both transported to Deep Space Nine, where she was taken into custody and the transporter confiscated. Thinking quickly, she requested asylum in exchange for valuable intelligence on both the Terran Empire and the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. Once she was off the station and being transported to a secure facility aboard the U.S.S. Starfarer, she broke out, disabled the ship, killed twenty-three of the crew including the XO and Chief of Security, then stole the Captain's Yacht. She set course for Q'on'os and told her story, then was promptly laughed out of the Great Hall. With nowhere else to go, she was approached by Waysou, who had heard of her story and was impressed.

Ch'habok
Images:
A renegade and fugitive, Ch'habok is not his real name. It is actually K'tarka, of the House of Torg. He abandoned the name and his house when their treasonous acts were discovered, and has both Torg and Martok loyalists hunting him. He will kill any Torg that comes for him, but tries to avoid killing Martok soldiers if he can help it. Enough of their blood was shed, and he will not have it on his hands.
***************************************************
***************************************************
Pahehk
Images:
A distant relative of House Duras, the only thing Pahehk has in common with the Duras is his penchant for treachery and his ability to stay in someone's good graces long after he should have been killed. Unlike the Duras, he does not pretend to nobility. He does have honor and lives by a code, but he does not let the pursuit of honor ruin his life as it did his Duras brethren. To him, the right thing to do takes precedence over the honorable thing to do. As such, most Klingon rituals mean nothing to him, as the pursuit of honor and glory has been subsumed by the pursuit of efficiency and profit.

Onegu
Images:
Onegu loves to hurt people, both physically and psychically. He has trained his mind his entire life to control his telepathic abilities, not to suppress them and keep others safe, but to wield them with the intricacy of a master torturer. Anyone can use a hammer and chisel to crack open a rock, but only a true artisan can use them to reveal a sculpture inside. To Onegu, his body is the hammer, his mind is the chisel, and he is the Lethean Michaelangelo, carving living beings into Davids made of pain and madness.

***************************************************
Zogomal
Images:
A Gorn genetic scientist once assigned to work with Admiral B'vat, once he learned that he would be experimenting on Gorn for the Gorn Augment Project, he strongly objected and destroyed their research, forcing them to start over. Knowing his career was over and very soon his life, Zogomal fled into space, eventually winding up on Nimbus III. He spent time traveling between Paradise City, the Gorn valley, and Shangdu, offering his services as a doctor to the people there. It was in Shangdu that he spotted and bought freedom for Rozach. He has been teaching the feral Gorn to be civilized since then, and a chance encounted with Waysou provided a way off the planet in exchange for his expertise as a medic.
***************************************************
***************************************************
Rozach the Scourge
Images:
Kidnapped as a hatchling, raised as an animal for Hassan's gladiatorial matches, and rescued by Zogomal, Rozach was at first utterly feral, seeing other beings as something to kill... and eat. He is always guarded, ready to fight, as that was the sum total of his existence. Only Zogomal and Waysou are allowed to actually touch him, though he is also warming up to Ch'habek. It's a slow process, but Zogomal is teaching him how to be civilized. He still doesn't grasp things like table manners or politeness and barely speaks, but at least he knows that wearing pants is a thing and that eating the crew is not.

Klaz (in yellow and brown) and Keggrutz (in black and red)
Images:
Klaz and Keggrutz were quite successful as pirates aboard the S.S. Bloodstar, a ship ran by their father, until a mutiny took place and the first mate executed the captain. As the sons of the captain, they were to be put to death, but they escaped and eventually wound up hired by Waysou. Their ultimate goal is to reclaim the S.S. Bloodstar from the traitors who took it and avenge their father.

***************************************************
Kara Marie Alvarez
Images:
Amoral and seemingly lacking emotions, Kara has been a hardened criminal since she was a child. While she does not kill for the thrill of it nor particularly enjoy or hate it, she is not above killing anyone to achieve her goals. Amongst her crimes, she once set off a biogenic weapon aboard a starship, killing everyone onboard. Her reasoning? She wanted to get her hands on an android in the cargo hold without any interference. To her, that was simply the most expedient way. The cargo they were carrying was just a bonus. After transferring the android and all the cargo, money, and valuables to her own ship, she sent the ship into a star to erase any evidence. The worst part? The ship was ferrying about 1500 families set to start a new life on a remote colony.
***************************************************
***************************************************
Adam
Images:
The android stolen by Kara Alvarez had its memory completely wiped and was reprogrammed. Using data about the Hirogen, Kara reconfigured Adam's exterior and turned what was to be a teacher at a colony into a highly efficient hunter/tracker/eliminations android loyal primarily to her, and by extension, the rest of crew.

Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.
Things I want in STO:
1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

Done. Smart move. Shoulda thought of that myself.

(lol)
Berek the Reaper (the Captain) - What he lacks in business skills (those traits went to his sister), he more than makes up for in tactical genius. He turned his talents into an art form, and between him and his sister, he has amassed a small fortune, a good-sized fleet of ships, and a loyal crew to command them.
Azhda (Berek's sister) - Despite having a brilliant financial mind, Azhda just couldn't cut it in the world of Ferengi Business. The reason? Integrity. She's too honest for Ferengi business practices and left Ferenginar, teaming up with Berek.
**************************************************************
Avery Evangelina Langtree - A human con artist, she and her partner Callie teamed up with Berek after a competing job. When they were trapped, he had the opportunity to leave them there and escape scot free, but he saved them, earning the scar on his face in the process.
Callie Josephine McKinney - A human con artist often partnered with Avery.
**************************************************************
Darayr Nisoroe - A Trill who loves experimenting with gadgetry, she was practically disowned by her family after being rejected as a host. Berek took her in, gave her a bunk and a holographic workshop, and lets her go to town. He won't put her in danger, though, so she stays on the ship if there's a chance of combat on an away mission.
**************************************************************
Ghel - A young Ferengi woman who always dreamed of being a pilot. She left Ferenginar and enrolled in Starfleet Academy, doing quite well. However, she was accused of cheating by her professors and, with no evidence to clear her name, was expelled. In truth, her roommate framed her to get ahead at the Academy, but Ghel cannot prove this. Berek took her under his wing and let her strap into the controls, and he hasn't regretted it since.
**************************************************************
Glitchy - Picked up during a scavenge job on a recent battle, Glitchy is a Klingon Defense Force Android. Originally commissioned as a tactical officer on the IKS Ga'vaht, The entire crew died in battle against the Federation. Glitchy was found with part of his positronic network fused and charred, but with the experimentations of both Darayr and Nipos, Glitchy was returned to a functional state. Repairs and tweaks are still ongoing (hence the name Glitch), but Glitchy is now a loyal bodyguard, seeing the crew as her charges.
**************************************************************
Kahroht - Once a loyal KDF officer, Kahroht was stripped of rank and formally charged with treason after refusing to commit mass murder. Her accuser was her captain, a member of the now-defunct House of Torg, who was taking bribes to do the dirty work of the Orion Syndicate. Seeing no other option, Kahroht fled custody, stole the captain's DujHod Chariot, and fled to unaligned space. After drifting from planet to planet for a while, she met Berek. He offered her a position on his crew and she accepted.
**************************************************************
Kinno Inyadh - A former Bajoran priest who felt the lure of the secular, Inyadh is a man who would best be described as a libertine. He drinks, laughs, and enjoys life, befriending nearly everyone he comes across. He also has the rare talent of getting people to trust him even if they just met, which makes him perfect as the face of the group. The one who makes the negotiations happen and makes sure everyone is happy.
**************************************************************
Nipos Kezazbla - A Betazed former doctor, his ability to practice medicine was first hindered by his failing body, and then by his own dangerous experimentation. Suffering from a rare condition that causes the body to literally waste away, Nipos started researching a cure. When the cure was deemed unattainable in the time he had left, he decided to play God and extend his own life. Injecting himself with highly modified Borg nanotechnology, he had them rebuild his body with a cybernetic shell, slowly transforming his body from a feeble, dying man to a body of metal and polymers, perfectly fused with his neural network and living tissue. In essence, he turned himself into a Borg Drone, but without the link to the Collective or many of the benefits. He was still his own person, but with a new body. Because of this, his medical license was revoked and he was to go to jail for the rest of his life. Not willing to risk his work on the cure, he escaped and fled Betazed, taking his research with him. He booked passage with Berek at one point, and basically never left.
**************************************************************
Parumullo - A Pakled female, Parumullo was never taken seriously by her own society or others. The only person who ever respected her for who she was was Kinno Inyadh, for whom she repaired an EPS relay on the fly and improved its capabilities. When Inyadh joined Berek's crew, he recommended Parumullo for the job of shipboard engineer, and that's how she got with Berek's crew
**************************************************************
Quondpgoxekeijirepid (just call her Quon) - Quon is a thief. With agile fingers, a small stature, and the ability to blend into a crowd, Quon grew up on Drozana Station, knowing to stay out of the lower levels and taking from the occasional visitor, mainly just to test her skills. It was Berek she was testing her skills on one day when he wasn't having it. He followed her back to her hideout and confronted her. Knowing that her life was going nowhere, as the Belen was just going to nickle-and-dime her to keep her working in the hopes of being able to quit, Berek instead offered her a job on his crew as a thief. He only had two rules: Do not steal from crew. Do not steal from clients. Everyone else was fair game and she could keep whatever she filched. Needless to say, she accepted.
**************************************************************
Saamek - A half-Vulcan/half-Romulan mercenary, Saamek is useful when it comes to making things happen when nobody else can. Whether it's a prisoner resisting being questioned or a client welching on a deal, Saamek is the guy who you go to when all other methods to get what you want have failed.

A little backstory that applies to all of them: They are, in reality, the actual Greek Gods. Not the Sufficiently Advanced Aliens that Kirk came across (who were merely pretenders and allowed by the gods), but the actual gods themselves.
In a fit of boredom, Zeus decided to depower all the gods, rendering them mortal, and sent them to Starfleet Academy. Despite being mortal, they are still quite powerful and commanding of presence, hence the extreme height and build compared to other races. Their goal is to survive the oncoming threat and defeat the enemies of Starfleet in order to regain their power and reascend to Olympus. Once he depowered them, he made sure they all understood that the petty squabbles of their past are meaningless, and to take advantage of their mortality to kill a fellow god would actually result in their own death. They also were informed that they must ALL survive the quest in order to reascend.

Admiral Nat.
Winning.
Oh, now don't tell me you want in on all this! Well, ok. Look this that Egg Pawn hanging outside your window, pointing his laser rifle at you, waiting for my next order. He's doing his part. He helps conquer the weak-minded. He roboticizes the weak-bodied. Heck, he even helps keep the useless people from causing any trouble, but you know what? Join. Find the closest Nataran Empire roboticization center near you and join the ranks, before the ranks find you. Oh, I know, you figure it must be so satisfying to know I basically rule the world now, and you know what? It is, but do you want to know the true definition of satisfaction? Well, let me tell you a little story. One day, you see a brand new event. They're giving out boxes that give old event stuff. Your dilithium is plentiful. You buy a whole lot of Phoenix packs on your main, and open them all. You get one epic token. Then, you decide, that since you have all the Breen ships and don't give a damn about the others, you exchange it for an ultra rare, and grab yourself a Jem'Hadar Attack Ship and for the hell of it, a Voth Bulwark. You open both, leaving the Bulwark in your vast masses of starships as you jump into the bugship and deck it out, deck by deck, into the most awesome Jem'Hadar ship you can. You fly it. You enjoy it. Eventually, you get bored and leave, leaving the old Bulwark never flown... until later. Your main is long complete. Your new alt main, based off some character you pulled out of nothing just to explain away some starship being in service without the command of your dear admiral, is also complete. Mostly. Their reps and doffs are hard at work, getting you stuff. You realize the potential, and head back for your dear admiral, pull the most Voth themed build you can out of thin air, and suit up in your giant ship in the shape of you know what. You head out... and cause all sorts of havoc. Enemies scream out your name as their very life is drained away by your swarms of Aceton Assimilators. They complain to the devs of your OPness when you revive yourself from death every time you die. Do you show any form of mercy? No. After all, this isn't the United Federation of Planets, this is mother frakkin' Starfleet, where you explore strange new worlds and kick butt never kicked before. Oh, and you realize that I just wrote another speech rivaling your own signature. Cool. Oh, wait, that's just the original draft, it is part of my signature now. Oh, and yes, I am aware that I have become a Canadian Regent; one day, sooner than you'd expect, we'll suddenly decide to take over the world and declare an "alliance", and I shall become it's Regent. You know, like the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the mirror universe of our beloved Star Trek. Oh, who'll we be taking over with? I dunno, maybe [REDACTED], or maybe aliens from outer space. Guess you'll have to wait and find out, won't we? Until then, don't ask too many questions, or else my Breen allies on Titania might pick up on your -- [REDACTED BY BREEN CONFEDERACY FOR REASONS] Also, psst... keep an eye out for flying Tribbles! Also walls. Big, great walls, separating entire continents apart. Walls patrolled by Tribbles. Flying Tribbles. Flying Nukara Tribbles. Don't worry, it's not like they were on Venus with a herd of Tholians or anything, they just like the extreme heat and brutal weather like acid rain and hurricane force winds as the norm. Oh, and definitely keep your eye out on any two-tailed foxes, because if they ain't glowing, they're definitely an imposter. Possibly an Undine, we caught one of those once in my place once. Oh, and if you find a two-tailed fox that doesn't like the cold... most certainly ask him to say sorry. If he refuses, DESTROY HIM WITH A DOOMSDAY MACHINE, BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH AGAINST SUCH AN OVERPOWERED IMPOSTER!
tr;dr, I am winning last post wins 3.0. Thank you for your time.
Brash, foul-mouthed, serially insubordinate, and results-oriented, as the war raged on Kanril gained friends and enemies on both sides, repeatedly decorated for valor and unorthodox tactics and gaining a five-figure bounty from Syndicate head Melani D'ian. Privately, she pushed to little effect for Starfleet Command to escalate the war effort. In 2409, following the near-destruction of her then-command USS George Hammond, she was promoted to captain and given command of USS Bajor. The war ultimately ground its way to a negotiated ceasefire due to the death elsewhere in theatre of B'vat, the rise of the neutral Romulan Republic and the discovery of the Iconian threat, and Bajor was reassigned to Deep Space 9's sector fleet. During a layover on the station she picked up a certain young man at Quark's and spent the night with him, only to discover the next morning that Lieutenant Commander Reshek Gaarra was to be her new operations officer. The pair tried to avoid a relationship for several months, but ultimately admitted to their love and married the night before the assault on the Herald Sphere.
A torpedo bay officer on USS Khitomer in the Thirteenth Fleet, Tess was seconded to USS Kagoshima to assist Eleya in getting the ship mobile after she inherited command. The pair quickly hit it off and, after her assignment to command Kagoshima permanently, Eleya requested Tess as her first officer. Passionate but respectful of the chain of command and the spirit of the law, Tess is a close confidante of her captain but disapproves of her relationship with Commander Reshek.

Ok, most of them don't have big enough stories to warrant mentioning them, but here's one in particular:
He's my main's ship's chief medical officer.
...gotta love tailor bugs that let you catch some otherwise impossible character screenshots. No, the changes can't be saved in-game, but I can take screenshots. Such a shame they didn't let the Borg Science Officer be customized, there's nothing stopping them, obviously.

Huh... He reminds me of Admiral Isaac Garrett (from the 23rd century questline). In appearance, anyway.
Admiral Nat came first by several years.
Here's an updated pic:

Jikela is from a parallel reality.
Rilandra is a Liberated Borg.
Cerylose is a genetically modified plantperson. The original species was only vaguely humanoid, so her genome was redesigned to be closer to the standard humanoid form.
Thrax is a fusion of Soltrian and Thrax DNA, specifically: 85 Thrax, 15% Soltrian. He comes from the same parallel reality as Jikela.
Their crews:
Non-customizable Bridge Officers not shown.
Serica (blonde in red armor) is Jikela's younger sister.
Tola (blue scarf and brown sashes) is a soldier from the parallel reality.
Sarah (Starfleet Orion), Kelly and Molly (Traverser Orions) are cousins.
Bees like honey, they don't like vinegar.

JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.
