    Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser for me.

This is my choice as well although I haven't gotten one yet. I'm hoping the price falls after they show up in an infinity pack.

I did get it TOS Romulan version, and I enjoy its reasonable size and the mobility that comes with it.

I have the Chronos, Tarantula, and Vengeance. The Vengeance is by far the most effective of the bunch, with the extremely good hangar pets and completing the 4-piece set bonus for the KT consoles. A set of 4 very potent consoles even before you cut the cooldown on their clickies in half. Plus, KT torpedoes (boosted by the first set bonus, how convenient) are devastating in conjunction with the Supercharged Weapons starship trait. You'll get you 3 stacks in the blink of an eye.

That said, the Tarantula -- built as a Tholian-themed platform with ALL the many tetryon tricks stacked up on one ship -- is a joy to fly. The Web Cannon is a little gimmicky, but also immensely satisfying.

The Chronos is more of a workhorse. It's a C-store ship and it shows.
I have the same three ships, and I think this is a very good assessment. The Vengeance is probably my favorite, but the Tarantula's web cannon is actually very satisfying to use. The strong point for the Chronos is the turn rate, so that's fun. I'm personally prefer cruisers to have a Lt Science seat, reserving the Lt Commander for another Tac or specialty, so the Vengeance is awesome for me.

Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

I have the Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser on Maggie Dalton, my AoY character, complete with TOS Constitution interior. I originally had TOS phasers and torpedoes on her, but later switched them out for Pulse Phasers (love pulsies) and Quantums (best bang for your buck).

She may not be as tough as Zeus and his Pilot Escort (Good LORD that thing can take an insane pounding and barely scratch the hull), but she can go into a furball and win most times. Took it into the Sphere Builder mission in the Kelvin Timeline, and she utterly destroyed the Kelvin KDF ships in no time with very little effort on my part.

Yeah, she's a tough ship alright!

Took her into the final AOY mission (Caleb IV) the other day, on Advanced. The mission had to terminate* the final battle on me as the KDF armada couldn't take her down!

*after a long battle, and countless waves KDF ships, the game got cheesed off with me and timed out. Weird seeing my otherwise intact ship get blown up despite the fact that I was winning ;)

I hadn't even thought of doing that... That is hilarious!
Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.

    Things I want in STO:

    1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
    2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
    3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
    4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
    5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
    6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
    7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
    8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

Hello folks, just thought I'd get some opinions.

I love Dreadnought cruisers. Ever since I first got my hands on the upgraded Gal-X they've been my main ship type (specifically the 8 weapons, 4 tac console ones). Since then, I've gone through a few more and loved em all.

The reason I'm making this post is because I've come across a bit of a problem. I can't decide whether I like the Tarantula or the Vengeance better, and would like to get some people's opinions on their favorite dreadnought cruiser.

Here are the ones I own, and what I liked about em (specifically unique traits about them)

    1 - Gal-x (Fleet T6 Dreadnought Cruiser)
    Saucer Separation
    2 - Tarantula
    Mesh Weaver Pets
3 - Chronos (Temporal Dreadnought Cruiser)
Temporal Related-Stuff (I missed the Tarant and went back to that)
    4 - Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser
Just got it for the console, didn't use it.
5 - Vengeance (Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser)
    Built-in cloak

Like I said, I only like the ones with 8 weapon slots, 4 tac console slots and a hangar bay. I know there are more than the ones I listed, like the Elachi Sheshar and the ENT-J, but I never got those, much to my regret. I'm using the Vengeance right now, and love it, but I miss my Tarantula just because of the Mesh Weavers.

So which of these ships do you guys prefer or think is best? Are the Mesh Weavers worth not having a cloak?

Atm I am having a blast in my T6 Gal-X. I think Yamato is called. With Saucer sep and cloak console and with yellowstones runabouts, just to keep the phaser theme. Also get yourself one of those guardian drones console too for even moar pets. They are very good little buggers.
