Unplayable bad lag.

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
So im getting utterly horrible lag, stuttering, long loading screens, rubber banding, everything skips around. I ran net test, 57mbs down with 5 up, every other game works fine, and web loads normal. It all seems to be coming from Cruptic's end. Anyone else getting bad lag?

    Yes, same problem as OP from Sweden and I usually never have any problems.

    Seems smooth 99% of the time.

    What I have noticed is the occasional spot where the game has major performance problems at times: DS9, Spacedock and Battlezone are the main trouble spots for rubberbanding, but there are also times the sound becomes choppy and stuttery for presumably similar performance reasons: the mission "A Step Between Stars" suffers horribly from this - almost like the area's way to big or complex for the lowly PS4 to handle. Considering the texture loading issues elsewhere I'm confidant it's something that can be optimised.

    I'm getting bad lag too, Game is very choppy. can't even use my skills cause they wont activate. even just trying to donate to fleet holdings is laggy. I've turn all graphics settings to the lowest they can go, playing in low res, nothing seems to help. I guess maybe it was the patch but it seemed fine over the weekend , then Monday the game is unplayable. Even just rotating the camera is choppy. was thinking its a server issue, but have no idea really. Hope this is fixed with next patch.....

    Are these people who complain about lag on console?

    As a PC i have no idea what they are talking about, game is smooth sailing bubba.

    There is nothing broken to fix, unless you call your ISP
