Admiralty version of Doff Support

The Doff individual crew system currently gives us a five-crew support system for space and ground. Now that we have entire ships to call on as level 52 and up Command Officers, will we see a more supportive system that can use ships from Admiralty as boosts to our ground and ship abilities? I don't expect to see our ships flying in to help (which would be nice), but stat boosts in individual PvE and in team PvE missions/end-game content. I also thing something like this will change the dynamics of PvP if the individual players have a diverse support ship setup. An Admiralty support system will also give additional purpose to the ship cards beyond the side game.

This is not entirely true. You can do quite well with what you get for free or with very little investment. Yes, there are lowly missions with unlucky events (and you just skip them), but there are also lowly missions you do with like 40/40/40 and you get a dil pack (500/1000/2000 dil for doing nothing and consuming no resources, unlike turning in contraband). Free event ships are among the most powerful cards (the nandi warship has roughly the same total stats as the annorax or elachi promo ships), free giveaway ships are good as well (they recently gave away 3 T5 ships), some lockbox ships you can get for just a few milion EC at the exchange are quite good as well (the return on investment is not bad, there are assigment/event combinations that award up to 500k EC). Also, completing both campaigns should award 2 Epic ship cards.
