that's account guard and it asks me everytime, since I don't login through ARC.
if you don't get a code question, either your browser is already stored or you have account guard turned off.
Because you are accessing it, via internet explorer/firefox/google chrome/etc. It doesn't ask for it, if you access it thru the arc launcher platform software.
There is a way once you have accessed it via online means, that it can be shut off completely but, I believe it has to be done either thru ARC only or, possibly thru your online account access!
I cannot remember off hand which though but, I know it can be done!
handy if you are likely to post from a myriad of different computers but be aware that someone could access your account unlawfully if you do this although you can always reactivate defender if you feel your details may have been compromised.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
Never happened to me and I've deleted cookies and don't have arc I just post from my Android phone or tablet and from my PC and it's never asked me for codes
yes IP/location is a big part of it... most people are static with their gaming thus all the "security" features common now on email and mmo accounts feels that you must be static in your IP, thus they track that. It works when someone from spain tries to access your email and you've never left Texas or whatever, but for those that travel its a royal pita.
so learn the lesson and stay the *infernal place* home for your safety and security... remember you're free as long as you live by their rules.
Lol, it asks for it each and every time I try to access it via IE and, I only use my desktop that never leaves home so, I got tired of doing it that way and, just log in using ARC for the forums. ARC doesn't require it at all!
