So, I've been away from STO a couple of months, playing single player games and whatnot. And I periodically open the launcher and update STO in case I want to play it.

But really? What's there to make me want to pick it up again?

New Ships! That I'll have to grind at minimum three months for.
Story Missions! That do not give me current tiered gear.
Delta Recruit! Play through old content + scavenger hunt.
Craft Upgraded Weapons! That will take lots of hassle and frustration while constantly getting undesirable results because Rando Calrissian designed the upgrade system.
New Special Task Force Misisons! That lemme guess: Nobody knows how to do. Nobody's geared to do. Or, someone is just downright trolling you because the mechanics are broken!
Sector Space is Contiguous. Yay. I can barely withhold my enthusiasm.

TL DR. Every time I load up Star Trek Online, I know that it will be a minimum of two months of monotonous gameplay to get anything that has been newly introduced. So, I don't really want to load Star Trek Online.

just delete your account, and be done whit it.

That is in the eye of the beholder and yet none of those reasons (sarcasm and arrogance) gives people the right to insult me just like thunderhawk101 did...

So now you getting on the band wagon of making deragotary remarks of my persona, nice you go ahead if that makes you feel better...

P.S: And good job on the edit, bit slow thou ;)

I didn't insult you kid, I called you out on your childish behavior and immediate backsliding. Nice try though. Oh, liking that sig edit. For the most part I agree with the sentiment you're attempting to go for, yes, you are a unique and beautiful snowflake, you are also insignificant in the greater scheme of things just like the rest of us. Get used to it.

If you have noticed that there is a 'bandwagon' of people against you, maybe it's time you take a step back and take a look at the common denominator.

I know you will take that as an insult, but believe it or not, I mean it seriously. I actually used to enjoy your posts at one time, but over the last few months you have turned into someone that seems to go as far as possible to get a rise out of people. Recently, I gave in to it myself.

I would be willing to be you're not the type of person that many think you are from your posts. Like anything else, a forum community is a place where you give what you get. I think if you go back through your recent posts you'll find that on more then one occasion you have been a catalyst to hostile 'flame wars.'

People are banding against you for a reason.
    Insert witty signature line here.

Riiight, so now when someone points out something you do that gets derogatory remarks made about you so you can maybe stop doing it and people might be nicer to you, that's now a bad thing..?

And you seem to wonder why people don't like you...

This has nothing to do with jumping on the band wagon. The post was meant to make you think about how you're acting. I'm not saying your are a teenager that has failed at life. I'm saying that is how you come off in your posts. As a kid with a chip on his shoulder trying to TRIBBLE everyone off. I realized after I read it over again that it was harsh and that you attitude most likely wouldn't improve even if I worded it more tactfully...hence the edit.

I admit, I'm with you on this one Sea. I've generally not had any issues with 'nuggets posts until about the past two weeks so to speak. For a long time it was all well thought out and generally appropriate to the discussion type stuff. Then suddenly total thematic shift. Which kinda to me atleast reinforces my thoughts that 'nugget is a young to mid teen, poss. going through some kind of major life event. Granted I'm no psychologist, just my 2 EC on the subject.

Either way, 'nugget. The problem isn't with 'you' it's with your general 'attitude'. We get it, you're passionate about topics in general, but going around and trying to stir up drama doesn't get people to side with you or take you seriously.

Sooooo, are we saying that Cryptic hasn't fixed most of the things they royally screwed up with Delta Rising? :( I want it to be fixed so I can come back too.

I did notice today that they fixed the Ascending/Descending PPU filter on the Exchange, which made me happy. (Too bad it literally took them the better part of a year to do such a simple fix.)

I think that came with season 10. The fix may be related to the item overhaul.

You should come back, to do specialization, R&D, Reputation, level to 60, if lucky you might finish after 2 years.

ps. oh yeah, thats only 1 toon by the way.
Additional 2 years for a few more, cuz this game is really 'alt friendly'

Getting back on track and the simple answer - all the things you've mentioned and dislike are still very much here. Therefore, you won't enjoy the game so don't bother to come back.

Its not your job to like the game or ours to convince you to do so.

Your better off not playing. Game development is more focused on getting you to spend real money for in game shiny items and less on improving the quality of the game itself. Lag issues are still all over the place though they say they're trying to address those. People are having client crashes like nobodies business including myself last night just switching a BOFF from Engineering to Intel so I could train his Intel abilities more.

Yeah there are much better options out there till PWE gets it's act together in squashing in game bugs and things. They still haven't even released a proper end tier science ship for KDF and Romulan players. Just half baked cruiser/escort types that lack what pure science ships normally have because they want to sell new pilot and command specialization ships.
Green people don't have to be.... little.
