Bug: MVAE / Fleet Advanced Escort T5-U Upgrade

From the January 29th release notes:
Upgrading the Multi-Vector Advanced Escort to [T5-U] will now allow it to upgrade the Fleet Advanced Escort to [T5-U] and vice versa.

This does not work.

I for one would really appreciate a fix for it.

    Yeah, I can confirm this doesn't work. It won't let me upgrade my MVAE on other toons to T5-U when I have a T5-U Fleet Advanced Escort.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Buy MVAE.
    2. Buy Fleet Advanced Escort.
    3. Upgrade Fleet Advanced Escort to T5-U.
    4. Switch toons and claim MVAE.
    5. Notice that you cannot upgrade the MVAE to T5-U without buying another token.

    Have you tried dismissing the C-Store ship, reclaiming, then attempting upgrade?

    I have this ship, and may start using it again during Delta Recruitment... so, if it's broke, please fix!

    Discharging and reclaiming the ship does not work. I have the Fleet Advanced Escort t5-u and I cannot upgrade the multi-vector advanced escort.

    Yeah dismissing and reclaiming doesn't work for me either, the game essentially treats the Multi-Vector Advanced Escort and the Fleet Advanced Escort as two completely different unrelated ships when it comes to T5-U upgrades.

    It's been nearly four months now. Can we at least get an acknowledgement of this issue?
