"This Item Is Busy"...?

So I got a Scarab Plating Mk XII from the latest lockbox, but when I try to equip it I get a system response of "This item is busy. Please try again in a few seconds.", constantly.

Is this happening to anyone else?

    I don't play the lottery, so I can't really help you...

    However, it occurs to me, that if your item is busy, you should probably leave it alone, and get it's business done.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Hmm, weird. Going to a ground map made it work.

    Had a number of problems with the inventory system. Reported the major one, will see where I get with that....

    I was getting tis today on my layest DR, trying to equip a Kit Module into a Kit. I may very well have been on a space map, I'll try it on ground when I'm ingame next.

    the only thing I can point out is I got this message when I was in a space map and I was trying to slot a personal kit item yet when I transferred to a ground map the item slotted fine, don't know if this helps.
    I guess what im saying here is try changing to a different map.

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    i have it too and I'm in space, so when I eventually get to land. I'll try that.

    I ran into a similar problem last night, trying to un-equip kit modules from my Delta captain while in space. As soon as I docked to a starbase, I could remove the modules and replace them onto a new kit frame.

    A bit more puzzling, however, is why I can't get one of the universal tech upgrades to go back into my account bank from my R&D inventory while on the starbase, after moving it from the account bank in space. Since it's account-bound, I wouldn't have thought that would be an issue... :confused:

    Perhaps the loot critter is using it.
