T6 D'kyr for Spock

There should be a new T6 D'kyr released, in honour of Mr. Spock.
Make it so.

    Did Spock ever serve on a Vulcan ship?

    I don't think so, though I suspect the Vulcans would want honor him with a class of ship named for him.

    I'm not sure if Spock ever served on a D'Kyr.
    I'd imagine he must've seen at least some time aboard one of the Vulcan ships. (Even if it was just for training.. I mean, he didn't go to the academy knowing nothing about ships and Vulcan ships, did he ? .
    I'm sure someone here must know if this is the case.

    The T6 D'Kyr would be a flagship commisioned by the Vulcan high command in honour of Spocks achievements. The setup could even reflect Mr Spocks abilities, with heavy focus on sci skills, and maybe even the first Science ship with 6 science consoles.
    (Just as an example)


    I figured the D'Kyr would be fitting since its the only Vulcan ship in game.
    And it has a very unique design.
    And deserves a more up to date version.
    Frankly I've wanted to buy one for a while, but it would be out classed by most if not all my sci vessels.
    I'd like a chance to fly this ship, I'd like it to be a viable choice (as compared to my other science vessels. I also think this would be an appropriate time, given Nimoys passing.

    Yeah that would be a great ship to update, aside from the BO consoles and numbers, it would require no real alterations in its overall appearance/shape, maybe just an updated skin to give it a sleeker feel. im with the OP, would so love to put a captain in this ship, but it is so unprepared for current needs.

    They should make a more modern Vulcan sci vessel instead, one with the warp rings shaped like a venn diagram, i think.

    A Constitution class would make more sense, but Cryptic has said a number of times that CBS doesn't want a T6 connie made. So, sadly, it doesn't seem likely to happen.

    Sadly, many core Federation ships have not gotten any attention in the In Game ship yards. I would strongly endorse the SUUROK class as a great looking T6 I would buy and drive.

    The SUUROK class were heavy cruiser / battle cruiser in function, and could directly template off the current Command Specialty ships. The Vulcan Lander from First Contact would be a decent alternative small craft. Any of the various John Eaves or Doug Drexler concepts are decent (although not all are canon). The Suurok also had a transport or heavy escort that was a Vahkla or something.

    Just another Vulcan ALT I would love to have move love...

    My thought process is that it would be more likely that they would name a Starfleet vessel after him, being he served the whole Federation and that he is both Vulcan and Human.

    We've been waiting for a D'Kyr update for years.

    It could also be made available to Republic players and make a good c-store science option for them.

    dont see the point, spock has already got a statue on two planets and hes mentioned in a memorial plaque dedicated to him and the various others involved. besides hes just one man, what about mark lenard? he played as spocks father, hes just as much responsible for spock being in this universe as his original human mother, yet Sarek isnt given the same honor and he also did some important peace deals in his time as well.

    Although i support a T6 D'Kyr, i think to honor spock a Jellyfish-Class ship would be more appropriate.
    (although it is the ship he was last seen in the prime universe, so idk)

    I agree that it wouldn't be entirely logical ( :) ) as a memorial - a) we've got a memorial, b) we never directly heard anything about Spock flying a Vulcan ship, so the only connection to Mr Nimoy would be that it was built by the same species as his character. But as a fan of the Vulcans (and Mr Spock) I would like another good Vulcan ship, whether you call it a memorial or not.

    I think a T6 D'Kyr or Suurok would be great. or we could use the Future Vulcan Cruiser from Enterprise


    But it shouldn't be a pure Science ship. The D'kyr and Suurok were also Battleships so 3 Tac consoles and 8 Weapons would be great

    I also doubt that Spock served on a Vulcan Vessel but that doesn´t matter. He was a great, famous Vulkan and i think it would be logical if they named a Ship or a class after him like we got the Nimitz or Ford Class aircraft Carriers of the US Navy.

    But it would be great if that ship Class was also available for the Rom. Republic because was D'tans "Mentor" and spent years to help the reunification movement on Romulus

    So a Vulcan ship available for Federation and Romulans
