Yeah, it has to be an April Fool's joke, but you know what....maybe they should turn the Redshirt Server into Old Holodeck, give us an opportunity to see what was, especially for all those new players who don't know how much as changed.
This would be the best thing that this game can happen, since currently there is nothing more unbalanced and broken and filled with bugs that cryptic ignores till they want to implement somehting new that doesnt sell since the old stuff it to broken OP.

The original STO's PvP sucked a**.
I am not sure any more if it was Season 1.2 or Season 2, but it was a later update that actually created some semblance of balance. But fact is, even then, many powers were bugged. It's just nostalgia - even from smart people like mancom - that keeps this up as the old ideal.
No doubt all the console TRIBBLE and set items hurt PVP greatly, not to mention the OP ship additions. But the game was never in a state where PVP was really in a good state. It might have been more enjoyable, but I think that's mostly in hindsight and comparison - back then, there were enough complaints.

lol, i was going to go with TrendyMirrorGirly, but TMG made me think about zombies. zombies freak me out almost as much as clowns do, and seeing as you are neither zombie nor clown, and you certainly dont freak me out, i just had to change it. besides, the goatee looks good and was deserving of a mention
i hope this is a joke becouse i spent 300 for gold member +150 for legacy +150 for delta + and another 300 to 500 for zen to be use on Holodeck , i check out the other 2 server and theirs not much their that work the c store dont work and the extange don't work just to start
Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
