    If you're healing yourself your pets also get some heals but it only works within 5km.
    So....no, completely useles if you don't have pets and borderline useless for carriers since pets almost never stay within the 5km range.

    And if you don't have the ship already it is out of question anyways since it was an event excklusive deal.

    Still, damn fine sci carrier.:cool:

    It also works if you target and heal a pet - It then affects all pets within 5k of the target.

    Which definitely makes it useful, if you don't have access to other traits... *cough*KDF/Rom *cough*

    To clarify...

    The trait only works on Hangar pets specifically.

    That means it won't heal other pets.

    Like from consoles (Saucer Separation, Aeroshuttle, MVAE)

    Consumables (Scorpion Fighter device)

    Or skills (Fleet Support, Photonic Fleet)

    In terms of carrier-based traits? What else are you going to use?

    Besides, the pets get hurt so easily that it's useful. Can't target the little blighter that's about to blow up, but know he's close to you? Just pop a heal on yourself! He'll benefit (as will all your pets).

    It's not OP if that's what you're asking. It's not totally worthless, either. You're obviously only going to use it on a carrier-piloting character.
