Saber/Raiper/Gladius as a Photon Torpedo boat?

I recently pulled the USS Yeager in a Star Trek: Attack Wing Tournament. It favors the use of photon torpedoes in gameplay which got me to thinking how to make a Saber torpedo ship in STO. Any ideas? As the Attack Wing ship has no aft firing arc, I'm guessing all turrets aft while heavy cannons fore with the photon torpedo.

    Sure. You get can max dmg from the photon with the voth ordnance 3pc set set including the voth experimental proton weapon, gravimetric photon torp, and voth universal console. A build could look like:
    Fore: 3 DHCs of your energy type choice CrtDx3, Voth Gravimetric Photon Torp
    Rear: Voth Experimental Proton wep, 2x Turrets
    If you want a standard photon torp up front instead you could put the grav torp in the rear in place of a turret.

    I have an awesome build on my Mirror escort retrofit I run it with a quantum torp , DBB and two DHCs
    up at the front. In the back I have KCB and two turrets for boffs I have
    Tac. Cmdr. BO1,BO2,THY3,CRF3
    Tac. Lt.TT1,APB1
    Eng. Lt.ET1,RSP1
    Sci. Lt.Cmdr.TSS1,HE2,GW1
    Sci. Ens. TB1

    I do loads of DMG wit that weapon layout (I use phasers) I can put the whole build on skill planner later. That was not really not the answer on your question but I have tried an torp boat and it wasnt really to good if u want a fed torp boat get sci ship

    Mostly torps, and it would mostly be for smiles and grins rather than any serious PvP or PvE action.

    In addition to the Voth ordinance set, consider using the MACO adapted set (Fed-side KHG set) or at least the 2-pc for the +35% Torp damage
