Cardassian Lock Box for Dilithium/EDC.....WTF

Now lets be honest, Green boxes are more common then fleas on a stray cat.....why would anybody buy these things from the dilithium/edc store?

keys yes....boxes....no.....

I just dont get it, all you would need to do to get as many boxes as you like is ask people in zone chat to mail you any green boxes they have, you would have a few hundred in ds9/esd zone chat if you asked......in seconds.....

how about letting me sell these boxes to the dilithium store for 1/2 their rated value....so 100dilithium each....that would work for me.....

or for edc's at the edc store....again it would work for me.....

I just wonder who thought up the genius idea to put these overly common "uncommon" boxes up for sale when they are so common anybody whos doing anything that involves killing in game will endup with stacks of them in minutes....

    i put up a bunch just to see what would happen for 1ec each shockingly some one bought them lol

    i just been discarding them sense then though

    dont discard them, send them to random noobs in zone chat OR to tumorboy (of any other staff you can name) 1 box per slot, its good for them to get box spam, to bad you cant force them to take all the box spam you send.....lol

    the other night i was on my lowbie (sci off) noticed in 1 night of not trying to grab boxes, i had accumulated 48 of the damn things, so i sat down in ds9 and mailed a bunch out to people.......nobody returned them to me LOL

    Might have been me. I actually bought up a bunch and shoved them in my bank, just in case the powers that be decide to do a green box -> dilithium scheme.

    The worst thing that happens from my speculative purchase is that I am out like 100 EC. Not like I will need to file bankruptcy from it. :D

    Maybe in a year they might be worth 1,000,000,000 EC/each as collectors items from Cryptic's 'silly nonsense' ages.

    My goal right now is to collect over 100 lockboxes and then Fraps myself deleting them all & sticking it up on YouTube.

    Hopefully others will, too. Maybe then Cryptic will take the hint.

    Because a lot of people only log in to do Doff assignments and socialise these days (not me, but this is what I've observed). Once you are full borg mk XII, what else is there to do?

    Heh. I got mine for a lot less than that. They were selling 10 for 1 EC. :smug:

    Why send them to an environment artist?

    so he can forward them onto somebody else, or maby he could build a whole city made from nothing but the boxes we send him :P

    clearly the dev's dont play their own game....or they would know how annoying the box spam is(not the messages, the boxes themselvs poping out of everything from torps you shood down to tiny spiders......to rocks you shoot.......what next, they gonna add the ability for a char to TRIBBLE and have that spawn a box.....
